"What's wrong?" Bridgette asked.
Duncan removed his hand from his side as blood covered his ribs. Bridgette layed him down on the couch, pulled up his shirt, and covered his wound with glowing water.
"Gwen?" Geoff asked.
"Yup." Duncan said.
"Figures." Trent chimed in.
Duncan kind if deserved that burn from Gwen. He keeps look at me with those apologetic eyes think I'm just gonna melt. I'm still pissed off at him, but I'm not gonna give in to those beautiful, blue, mesmerizing, angelic eyes. Wait, what?! What am I thinking? I rolled my eyes as I heard a knock in the door. It was James. James is our 22 năm old gateway to the outside world.
"Hey guys. Wh- what are bạn all sitting around for? Haven't bạn heard what's going on?" James said.
"What are bạn talking about?" Trent asked.
Gwen came downstairs with a pissed off look, plopped down in the couch, and began watching tv as if James wasn't there.
"Good news, there is someone else like you. Bad news, he's destroying everything at a pretty good rate. So since bạn all share the same abilities as him, bạn need to stop him before this world goes to waste." James said.

Bridgette flung her fingers toward Gwen. Gwen screamed in pain as the water landed in her skin. Before Gwen could get her revenge, Geoff slung his hand toward the ngọn lửa, chữa cháy that was inches away from Bridgette's face. The sliver of ngọn lửa, chữa cháy redirected into the air then faded away.

James left. We all went to our rooms and eventually went to sleep. I say on my giường and wrote in my daily journal as thunder roared outside. I jumped in fear as my door opened and Trent stepped in the room.
"You okay?" He asked.
"I hate storms." I đã đưa ý kiến putting my journal away.
"We'll bạn could stay in my room if bạn want." Trent said.
I smiled and nodded. Trent left the room and went back into his. I walked downstairs to Trent's room as I bumped into Duncan.
"Oops. Sorry." I said.
"No, I'm sorry for talking to bạn like that earlier." Duncan said.
"You don't need to apologize. It's clear that bạn like and care about Gwen. bạn guys are good together. I just wish that we could have been more." I đã đưa ý kiến then walked on.
Duncan's POV: "But the person I care about is you. Gwen and I are over. I just want you." I đã đưa ý kiến quietly but Courtney was already gone.
Courtney's POV: When I got to Trent's room, I got on one side of the giường as he was on the other. I let out a long breath as Trent said, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing, it's just, I think you're the only person in this house who cares." I said.
Trent smiled and pulled me closer to him.
"We'll if you're talking about Duncan, he doesn't deserve someone like you. Someone as smart, funny, cute and beautiful as you. The house
It has been a long week. Getting used to getting a tail whenever bạn get wet is hard. I also found out if your a mermaid even in human form bạn look better to the other gender. I had five invites to the big dance in two weeks and between briget and I we have thêm coming. I met Briget,Jeff, and Duncan on the island today. WE splashed around and had fun till briget found out somthing. She put her hand out to skim the serface of the clear water when it froze over. She jumped (witch is hard to do when your legs are Nữ hoàng băng giá in ice)and withdrew her hand tightening it into a tight fist. "CooooooooooL!" đã đưa ý kiến Geff. Great! thêm getting used to.

Hi peps I just wanted to let bạn know that I'm discontinuing my new story mainly because I want to focus on the other two marriage sucks and last Friday night. I might keep nghề viết văn it later but for now it's done for.
But I'm still continueing my other storys so don't be too sad another reason I'm having problems updating is cause I have major writers block I hope bạn can forgive me. Till then keep đọc my other ones hoặc read some others there are pretty good ones out there thanks bye. :( sorry chow.
