Duncan's POV:The rest of the day,Courtney wouldn't come near me.Was it Gwen?I walked into 6th period without Gwen (Gwen and I don't have sixth period together). I saw Courtney sitting in the 2nd row as I sat behind her.
"Hey how was your make up quiz?"I asked.
"What?Oh!I have a good feeling that I passed it this time."Courtney lied.
"What's up with bạn and Gwen?"I asked.
"Nothing.Why?"Courtney asked.
I looked into Courtney's beautiful,I mean,same as always, onyx eyes.
"Courtney,tell me the truth."I said.
Courtney's POV:I can't tell Duncan that I hate Gwen causr then he'll hate me.

"Why?"Duncan asked.
"Just answwer."I said.
"I guess,I mean,I don't know.I'm only 17 and I don't know if I really like Gwen.Being with her is great and all but I'm not sure if I'm ready to commit to tình yêu with Gwen.Don't tell anyone this,but she can be rude sometimes and she's not all that pretty.Man,now that I think about it,I can't-."Duncan đã đưa ý kiến and slouched back in his chair.
I turned around and tried to pay attention in class the rest of the period but all I heard in my head was,"You're gonna make them break up."
When 6th period was over,Duncan was the first to bolt out of the classroom.
"Duncan,wait!"I called in the hallway but he kept on walking.
Duncan's POV:After what Courtney said,I was starting to realize that Gwen and I might look alike on the outside,but we're completely different on the inside.I walked up to Gwen in the hall and said,"Gwen,I can't be with you.I like and everything,but I just can't relate to bạn at all.So I think we should break up."
"Ok then."Gwen said,slapped me across the face, and walked away with her friends.

I walked back to where Courtney and I were standing earlier,but she wasn't there.Why was she asking so many questions?Oh my God, do I like her?Does she like me back?
