well when ten regenerated, one of the first things that eleven said was "i'm a girl!" so i think it's definitely possible.

I'd prefer the Doctor to be a man but the way I look at it is that it depends how it would be written and acted.

If the Doctor is a girl, I will not watch it and be done with DW.

Ever since the beginning, The Doctor has been male. I would find it a bit strange if he suddenly became a woman. I could still be something interesting to see, but i would prefer to keep it consistent. A female doctor could lead to her having way to much drama in her life.

Doctor Who would probably lose alot of its fans if he turned into a girl.in my mind, if he was a girl i would never watch it again. But in reality, i probably would still watch it to see what happens between her and river. Even though the doctor will always be a man in my heart.
