does anyone have any idea who that lady who was crying in the end of time part 2 was? i know this might sound silly, but do bạn think it could have been the doctors mother hoặc a close relative?

I thought exactly the same thing. It will most likely be his mother hoặc some version of Donna Noble.
And now we get to the rumors. In the End of Time, Part 2, the president of the Time Lords says: "monuments to their shame, as the Weeping thiên thần of old" to the two women weeping bởi his side. They were also covering their eyes, just like the thiên thần from 'Blink'. That is one theory to explain the crying.

I think what she says to Wilf (I was lost... so very long ago) is the key.
Before it was revealed she was a Time Lord, because of those words, I suspected she was Rose from the future.
Now, I also think she could be Donna. But, how she could break the timelock?

Julie Gardner, the executive producer, refers to her as the Doctor's mother. Still, the way the Doctor looked at Donna after Wilf asked him makes me suspect it's her. I suppose we'll find out eventually.

I really want to know myself. I thought it was his mother too but I don't think it is. I'm not sure but if bạn do find out then please let me know:) x

i dont know i did think that but i also think that it loooked a lot like harriet jones and she knew he wouldn't use a weapon which is why he deposed her but i don't know for sure soz hope this helps! :)

To everyone. That woman who voted against the Timelords returning, was Rasolos.

I'm pretty sure it was his mother. I read online it was eluded to that she would be in End of Time.

It was his mother. When the actress was được trao the role, she was told she was going to play the Doctor's mother. I had the same câu hỏi and I found the answer somewhere. I can't say I remember where, though. Also, the reason she was forced to be like that (hands over her face) is because she was being shamed for helping the Doctor during the war.

Many people are saying that it is either the Doctor's mother hoặc Donna. Why not both? What if Donna IS the Doctor's mother?

PS: Davies confirmed that woman is the Doctor's mother in an interview, can't remember where I found that.
