How did bạn all feel about the Eleventh Hour?

I wasn't a big người hâm mộ of the 1st and 2nd scene (wen he was eating all that stuff and spitting it back out), but once past the initial silliness I really enjoyed it. I think Moffat will make Dr Who a wee bit scarier, which I'm very happy about as Dr who is supposed to be scary AND funny. I have really warmed to Matt Smith. I had a feeling I was gunna like him from the moment he regenerated, unlike with David Tennant, which took me about 2 episodes to warm too. Matt is just so likeable and energetic and he feels so modern and really spontanious. Also, #10 just wasn't funny anymore and he annoyed me towards the end when he made jokes that weren't funny and overacted his death scene :-(
Every1 is complaining about the new theme tune but I'm warming to that too, thêm than last seaons (which I still dislike). I kinda like it because it reminds me (idk why) of the old doctor who eps, with the blues and stuff. And the have the old logo back!!! I am so happy, it looks so awesome and retro and much thêm doctor who-ish. It looks far better than the last seasons one (the vàng oval thing with Doctor.Who written on it) And the trailer looks good for this season. the doctor has a GUN!!!! The doctor never has a gun!!!! OMG!!!! He's so new and spontainious. I agree totally with suzzieqws about everything!!!

Ok, so I've been worried over here. I'm still a hard core David người hâm mộ and I was sooo upset when he decided to leave. But I promised that i would give Matt a chance and I'm glad I did! He's like 10 before he got all angsty and Mất tích rose, full of himself and confident, joyful almost which I was really beginning to miss though I totally got in to 10's darker parts as well. I'm converted! Though I will always miss 10 I'm ready to give 11 his chance at the helm, may he take us to amazing places!

It was way better than I thought it would be considering the explosive ending with David Tennant; but Matt held his own and made the episode enjoyable like Doctor Who is known for. I also took an immediate liking to Amy Pond.

I quite liked it, although, and i may be wrong here, does Matt seem to be a bit too much like ten to you? That's just the way it seems to me, with the manic energy and the occasional arrogance and the eccentricity

I loved it! I'd convinced myself that the new doctor was going to be rubbish, but he was atcually really good!!

i liked it but it took me a while to get into it i thought it was all cleverly done. i tình yêu smith as much as tennant - they're both brilliant in their own way i like the childish manner about him and the interior of the tardis is STUNNING but frankly i hate the new time vortex and theme song. the new logo's good though. i tình yêu the chemistry between the doctor and amy aswell.

i thought he was really great considering that he had to follow the everyones favourite doctor, i really loved that he seemed younger and happier because towards that end of the last series it was all very very dark, and bạn needed a bit of light to make it real and balanced. i loved the thực phẩm bit and if anyone thinks that it was stupid and pointless well then your a child that grow up to fast and started doing crosswords when bạn were like 8.. i thought it was a great way to introduce him and Amy and i loved it he is a great successer to david tennent

I absolutely loved it. The whole season as a matter of fact.
I really hated the new doctor in EoT because I was a big người hâm mộ of dt, but after ten phút with him I thought he was brilliant. He's really silly and funny and weird, unlike anything I'd come to expect in since the new series started. I remember I read on imdb that david is leaving and who was going to replace him and I went around looking at các bức ảnh of matt smith and thinking "who the hell is this joker?" but now, after knowing him better, I really am warming up to him.
And besides, I think it wouldn't be fair to judge a doctor against another because every new doctor comes with a different personality and their own quirks and it would be hard comparing them.
