OK people it's almost over.

Even though it may be contraversial whether she is a princess, Mulan is very much well liked and respected in both character as well as her debut film. I even see her in a few given pictures with the rest of the princesses.

Pocahontas is another story. From what I get from searching the internet alot is that although people find her film very deep and emotional, it lacked entertainment and left children bored in their seats. She also isn't a very popular princess either. I never see her in a real picture and most of them are fan-based. If I see her, I usually also see the princesses that are clearly upstaging her.

In short: Pocahontas NEEDS attention, Mulan can stand on her own.

Mulan and Pocahontas did equally noble things in my eyes, but for some reason, Mulan has a huge fan base and Pocahontas has (relatively speaking) zilch. In my eyes, this is no contest because while Mulan fought in a war, Pocahontas prevented a war.

Yeah. I liked Pocahontas when I was 6 years old but she's not even shown that much with the other Disney Princesses. Mulan is everyone's favorite on fanpop, besides Belle.

Mulan isn't underrated at all, and Belle isn't the most overrated. I think that Cinderella is the most underrated she is so beautiful and great, but somehow, not lot of people love her.

You all make excellent points! I agree about Pocahontas...she is one of my favorites, but yet you hardly see her pictures and she doesn't really have merchandise like the others.

I feel Mulan deserves all the praise she gets, plus she's barely on the merchandise, so I don't find her overratedatall.

Pocahontas' movie is probably my least favorite of the princess films, though I like Pocahontas herself.

^True, but Mulan isn't underrated. I don't care much about Pocahontas, neither for movie nor for her, but i remember when i was kid and we were playing, everybody wanted to be Belle, Mulan, Ariel and Esmeralda, and no one wanted to be Pocahontas and Snow White, so she isn't very popular and noticed
