In general (Sheeta, Nausicaa, Chihiro, Sophie) are all brave, intelligent, and mature, if a little quirky. Chihiro has more character development than the first two. I'd say most like Pocahontas, especially since they have a lot of staring into the distance (lol). The younger ones, like from Kiki's or Totoro, are more like Ariel.

I was definitely thinking that Ariel reminded me quite a bit of Kiki.

I think Cinderella and Sheeta are a lot alike. They have atubborn bravery mixed in with a sweet nature and kind heart. Also, Mulan is a lot like Nausicaa - they are both warriors of necessity. Ponyo from Miyazaki's newest film does remind me quite a bit of Ariel (ironically enough)! Sophie and Belle in the way that they both have hesitancy and fierceness in combat with each other. Kiki and Tiana because they both have to follow through to the finish and they're both career women (witch & restauranteur)! :) LOL
