She didn't really develop that much.

I kinda wanted Snow White here instead of Cindy, but oh well. Anyway, she really doesn't develop at all. None of the Classic Era princesses really do, which is too bad. Aurora has too little screentime, but it would be nice for the other two to get development.

I dont know tbh, I feel thst Cinderella grows a bit more confidence while Ariel doesn't change at all...hard choice :\

Love her but she sells her soul to the devil, makes her family suffer, doesn't do anything else, and still get's her happy ending without learning anything except maybe that some risks are worth taking. Cinderella is low too

She has no real personal change in the movie and her personality bugs me. I'm sorry, but she is really selfish and spur of the moment. I just don't like that unless one of them were to change

Some time ago, I thought Belle changed and became less judgmental. There is even a song in the musical called "A Change in Me". However, the last time I watched BatB I didn't really see her change.

I think Cinderella becames a little more proactive, and takes drastic measures when Lucifer is stopping her from getting her happy ending - she tells Bruno to attack him! Where is that Cindy who was all Oh, we should try to get allong?

Ariel... believe it or not, I think she becomes a little more mature.

^ Belle DOES become less judgmental, at least in my opinion. With the uneducated Gaston she scoffs at and calls primeval when he can't read correctly, but when the Beast says that he has forgotten how to read, she is understanding and offers to help him. She doesn't develop as much as some, but she doesn't need as much development because BatB is mainly for Beast's development.

And, I don't see Cindy telling Bruno to attack Lucifer as character development in the slightest. It's just Cinderella being selfish in a way, or at least common sense, but it isn't development. Cinderella doesn't really mind the violence when it is helping her achieve her means, she's ambitious that way I suppose. But it's ambitiousness she always had, so it isn't development and I wouldn't call it proactivity. And I think her maturity level always stays the same throughout the film, like many things about her.

^I agree with you about BatB being about the Beast's development, but I don't agree about Belle. Gaston was rude to her; Beast was kind and gentle, so she was caring and loving with him.

I think Cinderella grew some confidence and I think she become more proactive. She also achieves her dreams, something unfortunately Belle really doesn't.

Does it really matter for the princesses from Snow White up to Jasmine? None of them had any character development to speak of. That was simply not their role in the movie. Pocahontas was the first one who had some feeble (very feeble) development. How can one really rate the ones before when the answer is for all of them "none at all". One can't have less than no development.
