Tonight's rewatch: Both Nữ hoàng băng giá shorts
Last time watched: 2018

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
Like Frozen, these shorts came out in my 20s so I wasn't a kid but like I đã đưa ý kiến before, I'm a kid at heart! I was hesitant to watch both shorts because I kept hearing a lot of Nữ hoàng băng giá haters call these shorts cash cows and đã đưa ý kiến the holiday special was boring. I hardly heard anything positive about both shorts. I watched Nữ hoàng băng giá Fever about a week hoặc two after it premiered and I loved it and I finally watched Olaf's Nữ hoàng băng giá Adventure around giáng sinh time last năm and, again, loved it!

Why I tình yêu these shorts so much:
Cash cows hoặc not, these shorts are so incredibly fun to watch if bạn just sit down and enjoy it without overthinking some things.

In Nữ hoàng băng giá Fever we see thêm of Elsa and Anna together which is something I had expected to see in Nữ hoàng băng giá and this time we see them having fun together. And Elsa and Anna's separation is brought up in a way that doesn't try to manipulate anyone into feeling sorry for Elsa on Anna's birthday. It's only mentioned a couple times where Elsa wants so badly to make it up to Anna for not having a real birthday for her whole life.

I tình yêu the follow the string activity Elsa set up for Anna and it's something I would tình yêu to do for a kid's birthday hoặc giáng sinh with my family.

Olaf's Nữ hoàng băng giá Fever was another cute special that focused thêm on Olaf trying to find a tradition for Elsa and Anna for the holidays. It was so fun seeing different traditions celebrated bởi different people that were either very common hoặc were unique.

Elsa and Anna's seperation was brought up again and this time it does make bạn feel sad for the characters because it was the right time for it. Elsa blames herself that they weren't able to celebrate the holidays properly for so many years that they don't even remember what their original traditions were. It brings attention to how in the dark Anna and Elsa felt their whole lives if even Anna was unable to celebrate while Elsa was in her room. The fact that Olaf was part of their tradition was a surprise I definetely didn't see coming even though several people probably did. It was a cute way of hiển thị the audience that Olaf wasn't just a snowman the sisters played with possibly once at the beginning of the movie and was then randomly brought back.

Specials:
Unlike the movie Nữ hoàng băng giá I had fun watching both the specials the whole time. The thing I loved the most about these specials is that unlike Chuyện thần tiên ở New York Tales the Nữ hoàng băng giá specials weren't trying so hard to teach the viewers a lesson they both were just telling a story.

Rating: 9/10 and 9/10

Would I watch it again?
Heck yes!

tiếp theo week's movie will be Mulan!

Who is the girliest of them all?
Who is the girliest of them all?
Some people thảo luận over this but here's my opinion. bởi the way I think all the princesses are feminine, if they weren't they wouldn't be added to the lineup.

1.Tomboy/10.Girly Girl-Pocahontas
In my opinion, she's the most tomboyish. She's the only princess I'd describe as masculine. She climbs trees, she jumps off cliffs and she's very athletic. Pocahontas' playful and mischievious in a boyish way. She prefers to go off playing in the woods rather doing her people's equivalent of housework. The thing is, when Pocahontas does these tomboyish things, she's doing them bởi choice. All the rough stuff...

Most people would agree that each of the Disney Princesses are individually unique. While most people take their stories and personalities into consideration, few tend to recognize that they each have an individual artistic style. Even though over the years their lineup has homogenized to create what we might consider Classic Disney, the thiết kế of nearly each princess was in fact inspired with a specific artist hoặc art style in mind. I believe this is the je-ne-sais-quoi people have a hard time attributing...
