If any of bạn are familiar with character stylization hoặc really art in general bạn might like this article. I'm talking about character stylization in the sense that when the artist is also the tác giả of the character's personality and has written out their every thought in simply the way they are designed. This can also be called "interpreted art" as anyone can perceive it differently, but a common factor still remains that everyone agrees on. BASICALLY I'm going to "guess" what the princess' personality is like based on the way she's drawn, see what the general consensus is on her personality is and compare it to the artist's (strictly NOT the writer hoặc director's) original idea of what they wanted the princess to come off as. And if this is at all interesting to bạn bạn can look up this with different artists bởi searching it as "the artist's definition of (their work)" and maybe bạn can find this with other characters.

P.S I know I had to do a lot of digging on the older movies, because of the lack of documentation, so good luck on the ones post 1980's!

Cinderella -- Cinderella

At this point in time Disney had established itself as a beloved children's phim hoạt hình studio, however the studio was bankrupt at the time with Cinderella, seemingly, about to be the last animated feature to come out, because of this Cinderella's staff, especially animators, were low-budget. Eventually the honor of Cinderella's thiết kế (influenced bởi Mary Blair's artwork) was bestowed upon Marc Davis with Eric Larson and Les Clark as supervising animators.

Walt Disney had chosen Marc Davis specifically, because Mary Blair's art suggested softer lines and Davis was someone he new was very good with making soft characters, mostly do to his trước đó creations like Bambi and Katrina van Tassel. In fact, around the studio he mostly animated động vật and Lọ lem was his một giây time animating a human character (with Alice, Aurora and tinkerbell soon to come).

 Davis' yêu thích concept piece
Davis' yêu thích concept piece

Marc Davis was very fond of the "simple country girl" aspect for her design, but he wanted aspects of her to be beautiful to "really offset the ugliness of the step-sisters."
In many early concepts of Lọ lem she has hardly any features in attempt to match the Mary Blair art style, but eventually she started gaining thêm detailed features with Davis favoring the sketches in which she had two plats on each side of her head.

Of course the live-action reference model had a lot to do with how Cinderella's hair and outfits eventually turned out, in fact Disney himself liked the model's style and diễn xuất for reference and wanted her image nearly copied; However Davis didn't much care for her structure and designed Lọ lem bởi her voice actor instead of the model.

The câu hỏi is: Does her finale form encompass the feeling the animator wanted for her character?

All in all I believe what he was trying to convey with Cinderella's looks is almost a chic country southern chuông, bell type of look, but covered with a messy and simple exterior, keeping her face light and regal, but still hinting that she sweats and works hard. The mental image I get in my head is Snow White with messy ponytails and dirt on her face, but still naturally pretty. Personality-wise I feel it'd be closer to Jessie from Toy Story hoặc Danielle from Ever After, which Lọ lem doesn't really have since it's much closer to Snow White.

Based on what I got from what he đã đưa ý kiến and his concept art I feel like she turned out a bit too clean-cut and graceful like Belle. I think the "natural beauty" is definitely there seeing as Lọ lem wears no make-up with no harsh lines hoặc accessories, but I feel that the "country" aspect is lost, she doesn't really look too "girl" like hoặc "on the ranch," instead she actually leans thêm towards a thêm mature and graceful look.

Cinderella's outfit, though is very true to form it's simple and maid-like and looks like she takes care of all of the work and spends time in the farm, the fact that it isn't very flattering brings out the beauty beneath the rags which is definitely Davis' vision (and of course the theme of Cinderella). I do think it's a bit too maid-like though, and isn't something like an outdoor stable-hand outfit, (or closer to a milk-maid look) instead it gives me a 1940's housewife vibe.

I think his concepts can definitely be seen in the final product, but, for me, I don't think it fully encompasses what he was going for especially since his contribution to this version of Lọ lem was going to be a thêm "simple country girl" type, which instead comes across as a similar "regal dainty southern bell."

So what do bạn think; does Lọ lem perfectly embody what bạn think her animator was going for, hoặc do bạn think she's way off? Do bạn agree with me? Would bạn have preferred the animator's original idea hoặc what she turned out like? Tell me what you're thinking in the comments, especially tell me if you'd like to see thêm (since I started this so long ago).

Hello everyone!
I'm ezilo25 and this is my very first bài viết on this site! I wanted to do something special, and since I have read the Grimms Tale in German my whole life, I wanted to do a comparison of Disney movie adaptations and the Tales of Grimm. So, let's get started! Oh, and excuse me if I do grammatical
mistakes, I'm french, so please forgive me!

Cinderella

Oh, Cinderelli... I adore the Disney character, I am passionate about the phim hoạt hình movie, but I am in tình yêu with Aschenputtel, the Grimms version of the Cinderella. Yes, I know, the movie is inspired bởi the Perrault version, which...

I find that Snow has the opposite problem as Elsa: she is frequently just typed as a sensor (because bạn know, she's all traditional and not adventurous and likes to cook and all that boring sensor stuff, right?). There's a lot of bias and stereotyping with MBTI fans, and I used to be guilty of it too (OK, sometimes I still am). though to be fair, I think Snow IS a little underdeveloped in ways, so she could really be interpreted either way. However, I'll explain why I think she uses Ni over Si.

Extraverted Feeling (Fe): No doubt about it, Snow White is warm, caring, and a social butterfly....

I đã đăng this on the Frizen người hâm mộ club while back and now I'm posting it here.

Everyone on here that knows pretty much knows how much I tình yêu Anna and despise Elsa. I mean, I certainly like Elsa thêm than I did when I joined in July, but I really hated her when I joined. So that's not saying much.

Right now, Elsa is twelfth place on my Disney Princesses as opposed to thirteenth place like she was when I first joined, while Anna made it to the top, instead of một giây place. So, both have moved up on my list, but Anna is still way in front of Elsa on my list.

It may not come as a surprise, since Elsa...

Who doesn't tình yêu travel?

Well, I mean, I'm sure there are people who, beyond my comprehension, don't enjoy exploring other parts of the big wide world. But I tình yêu travel. And I'm sure the Princesses would too. So here are the places the Disney Princesses would enjoy vacationing to. *Disclaimer: I have never been to these cities, so if I sound stupid, have mercy! I got most of my information from the internet.*

Snow White: Glorenza (Glurns), Italy

Snow White would tình yêu to visit this tiny town in northern Italy, near the border with Switzerland. Since it is so small, with a population of only...

I did say I was going to write giáng sinh related các bài viết here, but I've been wanting to write this one for a while, but I've been putting it off because I thought that pretty much everyone had the same list, but after thinking about it some parts of the danh sách can variate from person to person though I believe that most of bạn will agree with my hàng đầu, đầu trang 5. Anyway this was bởi far the hardest danh sách I've ever written, the hàng đầu, đầu trang 5 where settled in stone, but the rest where really hard to place. I based this on many aspects, but mostly on if the princess has both her parents alive, one parent alive hoặc is...

I'm sorry but I disagree with each side. I mean I agree with each side but I don't. I think both sides of the argument are taking things way too far, and it doesn't need to.

Frozen những người hâm mộ need to just accept that not everyone likes this movie and Nữ hoàng băng giá haters need to learn that they are being just as rude as the Nữ hoàng băng giá những người hâm mộ and they just need to stop.

Both sides really need to stop because they're ruining this movie for me. They already ruined Elsa for me, and soon, I'll hate the whole thing, even Anna, who's my yêu thích DP.

 Honorary Mention: Cinderella's Father
Honorary Mention: Cinderella's Father
Okay so I basically grew up without parents in a large sense. That being said, I always yearned for a loving, stable and consistent mother and father to teach morals, values, effective and constructive communication, consequences for actions, real love, respect, trust, honor, etc. Since Walt Disney founded the company under those family and character-based values, I have always been very attached to the Disney brand. That being said, I was thinking about the Disney Princesses' parents and if I could have traded my childhood situation with one of them, which would it be? Since I also tình yêu lists...

After seeing Sweetie94's prettiest Disney princess list, I wanted to make one of mine as well. I'm not really a người hâm mộ of the beauty of modern princesses, I find them rather too doll types, somehow. So they are all ranking low on my list. Hope you'll enjoy it, here it goes:

13. Elsa:
Eh, are her eyes for real? Way too big on her face and her lips are so thin. She does have that búp bê barbie doll kind of look to her. She has an unbalanced face proportion, her upper portion of face is too big as compared to the lower portion and that gives her an unnatural look, imo. I quite like her hair though, snow blonde,...

Happy Halloween! After much thinking about this, I think I finally came up with another bài viết that i'm sure would be interesting to talk about.

Everything lives in a balance. there can't be good without bad, light without darkness, etc etc...The dichtonomy of ying-yang and how they complement each other is a subject that I find fascinating to read about, and mostly to apply it to other things. Something interesting i noted is how often in Disney the villains are pretty much the exact opposite of the heroes, but they often sometimes come from a same base. And in that base, they have much in...
