I know we've probably had an excess of these over the last few months, but I don't care. In my humble opinion, there can never be too many các bài viết defending Walt's girls. I believe Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora just as much praise and recognition as any of the Modern hoặc Renaissance princesses. The three classic Princesses receive a large amount of criticism. They include "weak", "passive", "need a man to save them", "boring", "do nothing", "need a man to save them", among others (that last reason is so incredibly stupid and sexist). These "arguments" are beyond cliché, mind-numbing, and REPETITIVE. Actually, I would think that hiển thị kindness, dreaming, singing, dancing, cooking, and doing chores would qualify as "something", but apparently they don't. Again, I just don't get it!
They are no worse than the characters of today. Actually, they're better than some of the characters today. Have bạn people seen Bella thiên nga in action? hoặc Ally Dawson?

Let's start with the one that started it all, Snow White. At a very young age (14, to be specific), Snow White has already been through quite a lot. The Evil Queen made her a maid in her own home. I repeat: a PRINCESS was made a MAID in her own home.
Snow White later on shows how wise she is beyond her years, knowing that she needs to get a roof over her head than anything else after running through the forest. We also see a manipulative side of Snow when we see her convince the dwarfs to let her stay.
So weak? No. You'd be terrified too if bạn knew someone in your family was trying to kill you. And she sure knew how to get things done, for a 14 năm old girl.

On to my personal favorite, Cinderella. Lọ lem is incredibly strong. Like Snow White, Lọ lem loses her mother at a very young age. Then she suffered through the loss of her father, and afterwards suffered psychological abuse from her stepmother and stepsisters. Judging from the opening scene, Lọ lem is around 7 hoặc 8 years old. That means being a slave for people who treated her like she was lower than them for 10+ years.
She's also never outright disrespectful, but rather playfully points out the ridiculous of her stepfamily through fiery trích dẫn (for example, "Lucifer has his good points too. For one thing, he... Well, sometimes he... Hmm... There must be something good about him.")
That doesn't scream "doormat" hoặc "boring" to me. And to everyone saying she doesn't stand up to her stepfamily, I kindly suggest bạn all go watch the movie again. She also plays a part in getting herself out of the tower bởi suggesting that Bruno assist with Lucifer, and she also escapes an Chuyện thần tiên ở New York quả bí ngô, bí ngô coach prison in one of the sequels. So damsel-in-distress, my a**.
Lọ lem is not "flat". She is kind, humble, sarcastic, witty, and assertive.

Aurora, while not as strong as Snow hoặc Cindy, is certainly not a weak character. She's lived a sheltered life, and like the other two, her only companions are animals. She then finds the man she loves, and on the same ngày is informed that she is a princess and has royal duties and responsibilities. And "no personality"? Really? From the (approximately) 18 phút of screen time she gets, I see that she's playful, shy, dutiful, obedient, and loves to dream.

The Classic Princesses have chosen to see the good in life, and I believe everyone should live bởi this philosophy. So don't call them flat. Don't call them boring. Don't call them damsels. Don't limit them. Like every other person, fictional hoặc not, they have their strengths, weaknesses, faults, and dreams.

I just had to include this image of Cindy here; she's so stunningly gorgeous. Skin, eyes, and hair are on fleek!

Please Note: This is a mature subject matter. If you're uncomfortable feel free not to read.

This is my first time nghề viết văn an bài viết on fanpop as well as on the topic of Disney but I have in fact written comprehensive các bài viết about the place sexuality holds in American society so I at least can claim to know my facts fairly well. This is a break down on movie bởi movie basis exploring the sexual tones, hoặc what I can pull since these are really films for kids, of not only the princess but also the prince as well as a few characters on the side. Let's go in chronological order!

Okay I'm trying to make a complete danh sách of all Disney Princesses. To make this danh sách the Disney girl must be either born royalty hoặc she marries royalty. (So while Mulan is awesome, she doesn't make the cut) This is to include all princesses not just leading ladies.
If bạn see one is not on the danh sách please comment.

-Adella (King Triton's Daughter)
-Alana (King Triton's Daughter)
-Andrina (King Triton's Daughter)

PrincessAyeka12 gave me the fabulous idea of coming up with what sách and authors each princess would like to read. We already know that Belle's a bookworm, but what would the other princesses spend hours flipping through, totally Mất tích to the outside world? I had a lot of fun with this article, since I tình yêu reading. I've read at least one book from most of these authors, although not all of them. All credit for this idea goes to PrincessAyeka12! All hình ảnh made bởi me.

Snow White

I get the distinct feeling that Snow would just adore classic children's sách such as Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures...

Hello, I'm PrueFever, a 32 years old guy from Denmark and a Major Disney Fan! My all-time yêu thích Disney Movie is The Little Mermaid, Walt Disney's 28th full-lenght animated classic from 1989. I just tình yêu all the characters in the movie, the songs, the score and the animation. I grew up with Mermaid, it was the first Disney Movie I saw, so there's definitely nostalgic reasons as well, I'm not gonna deny that! I can always watch the movie and my mood goes up 100%! It never fails to amaze me. Also, the voice actors in this movie is spetacular! Jodi Benson is great as Ariel and even greater as...

So as some of bạn may have read, and if not then I highly recommend(!), my link. In that article, I mentioned a website called link which helped me a lot with understanding dominant characteristics relative to seasons. This site also provided a little Fashion Style Quiz! So, I couldn't help myself but to try and put myself in each of the DP's shoes and take the câu hỏi kiểm tra for each DP to see what style they'd get. I humbly do believe the results came out fairly accurate but I'd tình yêu to hear what bạn guys think!

I listed each Disney Princess in accordance with their dominant fashion persona. They all...

 12 Season Color Wheel
12 Season Color Wheel
So I never really got to experience much of fashion-culture growing up and have just recently begun to give it any focus hoặc attention. I have heard of the rule that "Redheads shouldn't wear pink." and I have seen some people discuss this here on FanPop in terms of Ariel and her màu hồng, hồng dress. I have also read many các bình luận debating Aurora's famous "Blue vs. màu hồng, hồng Dress". In those discussions, I heard a talented user on this site, link say things like "She's a Winter." etc. I thought that was so fascinating! I had never heard of this concept before so I decided to look into it. That is how I came...

Please note that this is a countdown where we users make a lot of assumptions and don't provide proof of anything. This is for the amusement so please don't kill the fun :)

11. Prince
The Prince from Snow White comes in last place, can't say I'm stunned. At that time, Disney animators haven't mastered drawing male characters yet so I'm guessing what's underneath isn't HD quality either. He's also quite feminine looking, petite frame with soft edges. No worries though, Snow White loves his man for his huuuuuuuge tim, trái tim :)

10. Charming
Nope, still not quite there with drawing men. Charming...

We all know the step-sister from Lọ lem that ends up reforming in the sequels. However, many people seem to have criticisms about her because they feel that she shouldn't have been forgiven bởi Cinderella, there was nothing to hiển thị that she deserved to be redeemed, and that it's ridiculous that she got to be redeemed but Drizella didn't. First of all, I think I need to explain where this idea of Công chúa Anastasia reforming came from. In the original Charles Perrault version of Cinderella, Cinderella's real name was actually Ella. When she became a servant she would sleep bởi the fireplace to keep...
