As an adult, I viewed the name Gaston of Beauty and the Beast's villian, Gaston, as Gaston's last name. I only assume its his last name because 1)the triplet girls call him "Monsieur Gaston" which is basically saying "Mr. Gaston" in the opening song called "Belle" in the reprise that Belle sings bởi herself the line "Madame Gaston, his little wife?" Most of the time saying "Madame (name" would be like saying Mrs. Gaston. And there's the fact Gaston is a first name but it could also be a last name as well. The name of Phantom of the Opera's author.

The group referred to as The Princesses doesn't refer to the group of 10 heroines we know on this site. This group refers to the women who were literally born into royalty, and in some studies, Kida from "Atlantis" is in this group as well, since she is technically royalty. In order to keep the flow of things pretty even, I have relegated her to the "Tough Girls" group, which will have their own bài viết later on. For now, we'll focus on The Princesses: Ariel, Jasmine, Pocahontas, and Rapunzel.

There may be no Disney character thêm polarizing than Ariel among feminist scholars (as well...

10.Ursula's transformation into Vanessa

Unfortunately, there were no user các bình luận for this one. I tình yêu this transformation, because even though it's short, it's interesting and reveals a lot about Ursula's character. She remains relatively calm throughout the story (until the end), but has ngẫu nhiên spurts of anger and psychoness, which is blatantly evident in this transformation. And...

For now I'm sticking to the usual "who came first" order, but I might mix them up later on.

Character: Top! As my yêu thích childhood princess, she will always be something special.

Role Model: hàng đầu, đầu trang – no middle – no hàng đầu, đầu trang – no middle. The thing is, I like her in the top, because she is friendly, acts responsible and is an all around positive character. But it does become rather crowded in the top, and there are three princesses I would rank above her.
Beauty: hàng đầu, đầu trang – it’s easy to make các biểu tượng with her, because she looks good from thêm hoặc less every angle. From the blue eyed princesses,...

Just a little something before we start: I think they are all really, really pretty (partly because Disney is unable to make ugly hoặc homely main characters)

10.Pocahontas
(Oh, boy, this won't finish good). Yeah, that's right: I don't find Pocahontas stunning, gorgeous, godess, hoặc whatever people describe her. I can definitelly see why people put her on their first places, but I have different taste and different criteria. I still think she's pretty, but I just don't like the lines of her face, they are too sharp, her lips are really weird, makes look like...

♥ Please note: I did not just think of looks, I only chose actors/actresses who have impressed me with their screen-presence and charisma. Some of them are choices that don't necessarily look the part as much as alternative choices, but these casting decisions would be the most successful and intriguing to me personally. My choices were based on a blend of diễn xuất skills, appearance, voice, and current age in 2011. ♥

Gabriella Wilde as AURORA

Tom Welling as ERIC

Avan Jogia as ALADDIN

Shay Mitchell as POCAHONTAS

Nina Dobrev as BELLE

Lainie Kazan as URSULA

Merida and Ariel have very similar characteristics with similar goals, stories, and mistakes. They are both fiery, spirited, stubborn, headstrong, rebellious, foolish, careless, inconsiderate, look-before-they-leap types. They both rebel against an overprotective, overbearing parent. They both go after what they want without considering (or caring) about the consequences. Merida wants her freedom to ride and shoot arrows as much as her tim, trái tim desires. Ariel wants to explore the surface and live among humans.

However, many of the same people that praise Ariel for overcoming oppression and going...

Ariel is very well liked, and although this is sometimes exaggerated, I like her too. Ariel is really beautiful and sweet but a bad role model. I will explain why. First of all I have to say that I tình yêu Ariel and share your thoughts instead of cursing me.

Ariel didn't follow her father's rule. Her father had đã đưa ý kiến that humans were dangerous, and Ariel's mother, Athena, had died because of humans. Ariel had learned that humans are dangerous, but she still pursued the danger and fell in tình yêu with Eric after she saved him. Here is the problem. ARIEL KNEW IT WAS DANGEROUS. But Ariel did it anyway,...
