When avatar_tla_fan won người hâm mộ of the tháng for September, I got the pleasure to do the FotM’s Interview with her. So let’s get to it, people.

1. How does it feel to win người hâm mộ of the Month?
Well, it feels great! I was really surprised when I won, I haven't been on the club for that long, only a couple months. But nevertheless, I am still very happy (and surprised) that I won. Thanks to all the people who nominated and/or voted for me. :)

2. It says on your thông tin các nhân Page that you've been Fanpopping since July 2014. What made bạn tham gia fanpop in the first place?
Well, I tình yêu đọc articles. One day, I was looking for Disney Princess articles. I actually stumbled across one and read it, which was from this site. I looked around some of the clubs, read the articles, looked at phiếu bầu results, etc. Then I decided that I wanted to tham gia the club, and I'm really glad I did join.

3. What was the first Spot/Club bạn joined on Fanpop?
Well, as bạn can probably tell bởi my username, I tình yêu Avatar: The Last Airbender. That was the first club I joined. I joined the Disney Princess club afterwards, and then joined the Disney club. Those were my first three clubs, and the three I was most active on when I joined.

4. Has Disney always been a huge part of your life?
Well, I don't know if I would say Disney has impacted me completely and changed me as a person, but it really has been a part of my life. I have always looked up to the Disney Princesses as role người mẫu for me, and they have helped me get through a lot.

5. What does Disney mean to you?
It means a lot to me, because I've watched Disney phim chiếu rạp since I was really little, and have a lot of nostalgia from them. I tình yêu having them as a part of my life.

6. Who is Your yêu thích Disney Princess and why?
My yêu thích Disney Princess is Snow White. ^^ I tình yêu how kind and sweet she is, but she is also really brave, and an interesting character. She's naive as well, and I tình yêu that, it just makes her so adorable. I tình yêu how optimistic she is, and how she doesn't let what The Evil Queen has done get to her. She's just a fantastic character, I personally think. People usually pass her by, saying she's stupid, has an annoying voice, isn't interesting, and is underdone, but I don't think that at all.

7. Who is your Least yêu thích Disney Princess and why?
My least yêu thích Disney Princess is Mulan. This will probably turn into an un-needed rant, but here goes. I dislike Mulan because she doesn't have that special of a personality in the first place. She's a pretty generic character. She doesn't do things until she's forced to, and pushed to the limit. I dislike her character development, it's like they changed who she is completely, she's not really the same, although I don't like her in the beginning of the movie either. She claims that if her parents knew what she was really like, they would be upset. However, all bạn get from her at that point is that she's lazy, and doesn't really work that hard. And she couldn't possibly know that her parents would mind knowing who she really is, they probably know anyways. They're her parents, they know thêm about her than she thinks. She is selfless for going to the army, I'll admit that, but was there really any other choice for her? She still doesn't work until forced, and "I'll Make a Man Out of You" is a perfect example of how she doesn't do anything until se is pushed. Overall, I just really dislike her character in general, and that is why.

8. You've got a Yellow Die-Hard Medal @ the Disney Princess Spot. Are bạn happy with it and are bạn planning to get an Red Super Medal hoặc are bạn not that bothered with the Medals?
I was surprised and thrilled when I saw I had gotten a die-hard medal, similar to my reaction about FOTM, I had no idea it was coming. It would be nice to get a higher medal, but it isn't really a "priority" of mine on here. I just like making contributions and becoming Những người bạn with people on the site.

9. Which Spots do bạn visit/contribute to other than the DP Spot?
Well, the Avatar: The Last Airbender spot for one. I actually took a break from it to contribute thêm to the Disney Princess spot, but I'm active on the ATLA spot again now, it's one of my yêu thích spots. I used to go on the Disney club all the time, but I don't really anymore. I occasionally visit the ngẫu nhiên club, The Legend of Korra club, and the other Disney spots.

10. If bạn only have one thing, and ONLY one, what would bạn say bạn contribute to the DP Spot with the most? (Like Polls, Images, Articles, câu hỏi kiểm tra Questions, các bình luận hoặc Videos)
Well, it's either các bài viết hoặc polls, but mostly it's been polls. I used to make a lot of articles, but I'm not going to make them as often anymore. I still make số phiếu bầu daily, however. I bình luận on most of the số phiếu bầu I vote on, but I wouldn't say that is my "top contribution," because I'm not really known for detailing my comments. xD. I sometimes make câu hỏi kiểm tra questions, not as often as polls, but I do make them. I hardly ever đệ trình images, and I don't even know if I've đã đệ trình a video. So overall, probably polls, hoặc maybe articles.

11. How often do bạn log on Fanpop?
I come on every day, when I can. It really depends on the day, sometimes I may come on a bunch of times in one day, sometimes I may only come on once in a day.

12. Do bạn remember the first Disney Movie bạn saw?
The first Disney Movie I ever saw was Cinderella. :D It was my yêu thích movie when I was a little kid, and Lọ lem was my yêu thích heroine. It is still one of my các sở thích currently. (And I believe the một giây Disney Movie I ever saw was Aladdin.)

13. Have bạn ever been to one hoặc thêm of the Disney Theme Parks hoặc would bạn like to?
Yes, I have. I've been to both DisneyWorld and DisneyLand in the US. I have been to DisneyLand once, and Disney World a few times, because I live much closer to Disney World.

14. Who's your Absolute yêu thích Disney Character, not just from the Disney Princess Movies, but from all the Disney Movies.
Actually, my yêu thích is Snow White, but since I already talked about her, I'll go into my yêu thích non-DP Disney Character. It's Yzma, XD. She's hilarious! I tình yêu every một phút she's in the movie, she's bởi far my yêu thích character from the movie, it should be all about her, it would be the funniest Disney Movie ever.

15. Do bạn prefer Hand-drawn phim hoạt hình hoặc CGI-Animation?
I actually prefer CGI, I find it thêm detailed and interesting. I tình yêu Hand-Drawn phim hoạt hình as well, but sometimes it can look bland and uninteresting. However, it would be nice to see thêm hand-drawn Disney phim chiếu rạp in the future, although I'm one of the few people that's perfectly happy with CGI Disney Princess Movies.

16. Do bạn have anything you'd like to say to your fellow DP-Fans?

Diazdiaz95 Lol, yes, Yzma is amazing, I love every second when she's onscreen. I also love Snow White, she really is so underrated. I must say that while I'd like to see a return to hand drawn animation, I don't really mind the CGI animation as long as it is of the same level as Tangled or Wreck It Ralph or even better. Congratulations again for your win, you definitely deserved it :) Nice article!

324anna Great article! Yzma is awesome. :) And it's very refreshing to see someone who has Snow White first and Mulan last, I don't agree with these choices but it's nice to see something different. Same goes with how you prefer CGI. Anyway, congrats Mary, you deserved it!

hajirah4 Great interview! I agree with Anna, it's pretty rare when you see Snow White first and Mulan last. I agree with you about CGI as well. That's why I have Tangled so high in the animation department. " The first Disney Movie I ever saw was Cinderella. :D It was my favorite movie when I was a little kid, and Cinderella was my favorite heroine. It is still one of my favorites currently. (And I believe the second Disney Movie I ever saw was Aladdin.) " SAME HERE! I don't know if I watched Cinderella first of Aladdin, but those were def the first Disney movie I ever saw. I learned a lot about you, Mary. Very interesing article, indeed. But, how come the recent interviews are close to 16 questions? The interviews I remembered had a lot of questions like "Name your favourite non-DP character from each DP movie", "What's your favourite non-DP movie?" I wished you would add some questions you'd liked to be asked as well, I thought Jorgen would've known since he was a pretty old user and seemed pretty much an expert in FOTM articles, oh well, life goes on ;) 'Tis a shame. I'll just ask them to you personally.

shanyuisboss Great interview! This was really fun to read. Very disappointed to see Mulan last on your list considering how much I love her. I hope you will be able to see her the way I do one day. Anyway, congrats again!

hajirah4 ^^Yeah... normally in the FOTM articles, the FAN of the Month's icon is only supposed to be the first icon. ;) Just so you know, it kind of gets confusing for the reader as well as upsetting for the one who's being interviewed when they're icon spot is altered.

3xZ Congratulations Mary!!! Although you are new here, you are very active just like an old user (as a proof, you already earn die-hard medal just within less than 3 months!). You really truly deserve to be the September 2014 FOTM (and I'm happy to vote for you in the poll). Great answers! <3 I love how you place Snow White as your favourite. Your description about her makes me love her more (even though till now she's my tenth XD). Hahaha, I like your placement for Mulan since she's my eleventh. I agree with your opinion that CGI animation is more detailed and interesting although in my opinion hand-drawn animation is more artistic. Quite unique questions, PrueFever ^__^

MalloMar Wow! Sometimes i forget that you haven't been here for long. You certainly have your place in the club. Nice to see different questions, Prue! I have no originality and could never do that. YEAHHH Yzma and Snow White! Your Mulan-dislike is interesting. I can see why some don't think she's all that. I don't really like her character development either, but in the end, she's still one of my favorites. Congratulations!
