Third bài viết in three days? I have a life..heh...heh..ANYWAYS, I've heard multiple times people calling Elsa complex, but they usually don't give an argument to back that up, so I decided to write this! I've also heard a lot of complaints from Nữ hoàng băng giá haters asking how Elsa is so complex, so I'm nghề viết văn this for that as well. Anyway let's get started! I hope bạn enjoy! :)

Characteristics of a Complex Character (gotten online):

1. He hoặc she undergoes an important change as the plot unfolds.

2. The changes he hoặc she experiences occur because of his hoặc her actions hoặc experiences in the story.

3. Changes in the character may be good hoặc bad.

4. The character is highly developed and complex, meaning they have a variety of traits and different sides to their personality.

5. Some of their character traits may create conflict in the character.

6. He hoặc she displays strengths, weaknesses, and a full range of emotions.

7. He hoặc she has significant interactions with other characters.

8. He hoặc she advances the plot hoặc develops a major theme in the text.

Undergoes an Important Change as the Plot Unfolds

It's undeniable that Elsa goes through character development. At the beginning of the movie, she's such a scared, distant character. She doesn't accept who she is and keeps herself in isolation because of it. As the movie progresses, she has some bumps in the rode, but bởi the end she's a new person, but in a realistic way. She finally accepts herself and her powers and is a thêm open person.

Change Occurs Because of His/Her Actions hoặc Experiences

Elsa's character development from distant and withdrawn to accepting and open occurs mostly from Anna's actions, but Elsa's play a role as well. If Elsa would've never Nữ hoàng băng giá Anna's heart, she would've never hugged Anna and figured out that tình yêu was all she needed.

Changes in the Character Can Be Good hoặc Bad

Although Elsa's main change is at the end of the movie, she also goes through a change earlier on. She changes in Let it Go, and then she also changed in the scene afterwards, when she's once again afraid of her powers. That change is for the worse, since she goes back on her word and starts to fear herself again. I think her change from accepting to not accepting is realistic, since it's impossible to do a complete 360 shift after just one song.

Variety of Traits and Different Sides

We can see that Elsa is mature, yet playful too, well-spoken and can keep a level head, yet can lose that level head too and get scared and nervous. Elsa also has a tough times facing her problems head on. She often runs away from them instead of seeking a solution. She's also very selfless, yet can be unintentionally selfish. She's quite elegant too, but can let her hair down and have a good time. She is also very sweet, but can get borderline aggressive when pushed.

Character Traits Create Conflict

Well, Elsa undeniably creates conflict. Her running away from her problems due to her lack of experience in dealing with things. Also, her aggression definitely creates conflict, since she nearly kills two men!

Displays Strengths, Weaknesses, and a Full Range of Emotions

In the movie, we see Elsa joyful, reserved, "letting it go", sad, scared, angry. We basically see every emotion possible on Elsa's face. We also undeniably see her strengths and weaknesses. We see how creative she is through building her ice sculpture, how she's well spoken and respected, but also we see the weaknesses that haunt Elsa in her everyday life. Her sadness, her fear.

Significant Interactions With Other Characters

Well, we see her with Anna, multiple times, with Hans, with the towns people (how she reacted when she was trying to escape, it was clear she doesn't like large crowds), the Duke (revealing that she doesn't like dancing), Olaf, her parents, and a bit of Kristoff, so I'd definitely say this is a "check".

Develops A Theme

Elsa is the main driver of one of the main themes of Frozen, accepting yourself for who bạn are. Elsa shows that bạn can go from hating who bạn are, being scared of yourself, sad with yourself, to becoming a new person. A happier person, a thêm content person. All and all, Elsa is definitely an amazing character, and definitely deserves the tiêu đề of a "complex character".

In the years I've been on Fanpop, I've noticed that Ariel is one of those characters that people either 'love' hoặc 'hate'. Honestly I'm the only person I know of who doesn't feel very strongly toward her either way. I guess I lean a tiny bit thêm toward the 'Ariel lovers' side because like her just fine, but I don't 'adore' her. But oh well no one is complete neutral. Anyway speaking from the perspective of semi-neutral party here is my opinion about Ariel's controversial behavior.

1. Is Ariel Stupid?
No, I don't think she's stupid. I think she made some reeeeeeeeally bad dissensions like going...

 The Original Eight Princesses
The Original Eight Princesses
Anyone growing up in the 2000's (such as myself) who was a big người hâm mộ of Disney Princess has probably heard the song "If bạn Can Dream". I like to refer to it as the Disney Princess' theme song (at least, I used to, but we'll get to that later); it was a song that basically emphasized the idea that if bạn wish upon a star, anything your tim, trái tim desires will come to you. Not only did it refer to Disney's biggest trademark song in Pinocchio, but it summed up some of the great things the Disney Princesses at that time wanted: tình yêu and adventure. When I say "at that time," I'm referring to when there...

Many những người hâm mộ in this club says Elsa is selfish? Seriously? She is not selfish!

I'll give bạn valid reasons

1.) She shuts Anna out just to protect her

2.) She left her kingdom in order to protect her sister and everyone else

3.) She doesn't wanted to hurt anybody, but she has no other choice

4.) She created marshmallow, kẹo dẻo to sent Anna away from her, because she accidently hit her

5.) She did not mean to harm Anna, she just can't control her powers

6.) Elsa đã đưa ý kiến this "No, Anna. I belong here, alone. WHERE I CAN BE WHO I AM, WITHOUT HURTING ANYBODY"

7.) She felt terrible when Hans told her that Anna is dead....

OK, I đã đưa ý kiến in a trước đó bài viết that Elsa may be one of the most powerful characters in Disney history and arguably as powerful as Maleficent. Well that got me thinking: What would happen if these two met in a fight?

Well quite honestly, I think this would be one of the most epic battles in the history of Disney. On one side, you've got Elsa, the Snow Queen; master of cryomancy and snow. And in the other corner, bạn have Maleficent, the Mistress of All Evil, dark fairy. It's hard to say just who would get the upper can in a battle like this. But to really give a statistical view on just what...
