I have a bone to pick. The people on fanpop keep saying that the DP couples would make terrible parents. The phim chiếu rạp are about them when they are in their teens (or in some of the princes’ cases, early to mid-twenties) so they aren’t actually going to have kids until they mature a little more. This is my ranking of who I think would be most naturally suited to parenting. If an adult is good person, they can learn to be a good parent, but it is true that some people have thêm natural ability.

(Final Disclaimer: I am only counting the original films. I seriously disagree with the characterization in the sequels, especially TLM2 and Mulan 2. But I’m hoping to expand on that in a later article.)

11. Merida
I am NOT hating on Merida, I just think she would have trouble settling down and setting boundaries for her children. She also doesn’t have an official prince, and these ratings are based on how the COUPLES would do as parents.

10. Pocahontas & John
I agree with why other Fanpoppers put them low. The culture clash between Pocahontas and John would cause them to have trouble co-parenting. Also, both of them have serious ants-in-their-pants syndrome. They wouldn’t be able to stop exploring long enough.

9. Mulan & Shang
I think that Mulan and Shang would be excellent at raising disciplined children, but that they would have trouble staying trang chủ for long enough. Plus, they aren’t shown interacting with children, so I don’t have a basis to see how they would act around them.

8. Aladdin và cây đèn thần & Jasmine
Aladdin và cây đèn thần and hoa nhài clearly like kids. Aladdin và cây đèn thần was starving, but he gave the kids his food. hoa nhài gave thực phẩm to the little girl. But I also think that they might not know what to do with a little kid tugging their clothes and saying “I’m bored!”

7. Aurora & Phillip
Aurora is tender with the forest animals, and Philip is tender with Aurora, but neither of them are seen with children. Philip is the first human Aurora has met since she was a baby!

6. Ariel &Eric
Ariel and Eric are both very protective. Eric risked his life to save Ariel’s and Max’s lives. He is also protective of Grimsby. But while both of them excel in protecting others, they tend to take unnecessary risks with their own health. 5. Rapunzel & Flynn
Rapunzel has spent 18 years in a tower and she’s a little naïve. Flynn is a reformed criminal. I’m aware of those facts. But when Rapunzel first has a chance to spend time with kids, she gets along with them immediately. Flynn mentions that he used read to other children when he was younger and he gets along well with the kids Rapunzel plays with.

4. Belle & Beast
Belle would tình yêu đọc to kids and she gets along well with Chip. Beast (I mean his human form, but he doesn’t have any other name), also gets along well with Chip, and he seems to enjoy his company. Lọ lem is very maternal with the mice and Bruno. She also had an amazing father. The thing pulling this couple down is Charming’s lack of screen time.

2. Tiana & Naveen
I know, I know Tiana and Naveen as number two? Am I crazy? Hear me out. Naveen has a little brother and he gets along well with the little boy dancing to the đường phố, street band. Tiana is nice to the baby in the restaurant and she has a perfect “kindergarten teacher voice” when she asks “Louis , have bạn been taking us in the wrong direction?” They are also higher because of their ability to help cover for each other’s weaknesses. Naveen could help Tiana remember what’s really important (her kids, not her restaurant), and Tiana could make sure Naveen doesn’t let the kids run too wild.

1. Snow White & Prince
Snow White is incredibly motherly toward the dwarves. She makes sure they wash before they eat, she entertains them and she tells them a bedtime story. The Prince is also kind to the dwarves. He gives them a boost so Snow can Kiss them goodbye. I am aware that the dwarves are not children, but the behavior shown bởi Snow and the Prince toward the dwarves is perfect.
