Amanda Seyfried, Mila Kunis, and Gemma Arterton have played hoặc are going to play leading ladies of well known storybook characters on the big screen. The problem I have is not with the các nữ diễn viên personally but the ever pattern in beauty.

We had Snow White and the Huntsman, Once Upon a Time series, Mirror Mirror, Red Riding Hood. 2013, we’re going to get Jack the Giant Slayer, Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters, Oz: The Great & Powerful, and Disney will be making an adaption of The Snow Queen sometime soon. There probably are going to be thêm fairy tale adaptations in 2014. The phim chiếu rạp are starting to look better with nghề viết văn and action (seriously last year’s fairy tale adaptations sucked) but in the future I would like to see directors actually cast a plus size woman as the lead role of the princess hoặc maiden.

I think there should be plus size princesses. Maybe from Disney maybe from other companies that are starting to make thêm and thêm fairy tale adaptations. The point is I think with all these adaptations coming out this năm these companies should start using plus size các nữ diễn viên as the main leads hoặc draw plus size princess characters.

Yeah I know I’m going to get crap for saying this but I think companies should start doing this with their adaptations. I mean, everyone want to make a different and twisted version of these stories so why not be as different from everyone else to cast a thick chick as Little Mermaid? Other directors haven't been doing that yet.

I've seen two horror films on Red Riding mui xe before. Red Riding mui xe (2011) and Company of Người sói (1984). I've seen many horror dark twist to Snow White. Snow White and the Huntsman, & Snow White a Tale of Terror. But I never seen them portrayed bởi thick women.

And besides what fairy tale actually SAID—I mean what TEXT says—that the princess was thin hoặc had a small waist? None do because all of those fairy tale’s beauty ideals are very vague so the reader can just imagine their own image of beauty. It makes it relatable to all kinds of people. Also the appearance doesn't really matter. All we need to know that the princess is considered beautiful. That is why these fairy tales have been passed down to so many different generations.

Also since directors already change things in adaptations like turning innocent Red Riding mui xe into a hot blonde twenty năm old I don’t think making a curvy princess would take out of the story. And well being historically accurate doesn’t apply when these fairy tales are vague and aren’t based on any historic people hoặc events.

The standers of beauty can’t be just this one thing. I would like Hollywood to grow and be thêm diverse in what its hình ảnh of beauty are. I want Disney in the future to have female characters that are thicker and are looked as beautiful. Little girls need to see that. Heck, grown women need to see that!

Why can’t Christina Aguilera at the weight she is now be cast as a princess Odette in the tiếp theo thiên nga Lake movie? Sara Ramirez is beautiful, why can't she play the 2014 version of Rapunzel? Hayley Hasselhoff is freaking adorable looking. Seriously she is a cutie pie; I would like to see her play Lọ lem hoặc the girl from Rumpelstiltskin. Why can’t Jenna Ushkowitz be casted as Sleeping Beauty hoặc Princess Badroulbadour in Aladdin? chim giẻ cùi, jay Park could play a hát Aladdin. She has the hát voice of a fairy tale princess. She would be perfect for a musical fairy tale adaption. Why can’t American Ferrea play the lead in Snow White & Rose Red? Why can’t Joanne Borgella play the main lead in the Grimm’s tale Brother and Sister?

I’m not saying Hollywood should just stop casting skinny girls as the pretty girl roles all together. No. I just think the body hình ảnh on screen should widen out some. One movie skinny actress, the tiếp theo should have a thicker actress. There are a few beautiful plus size các nữ diễn viên that could play these fairy tale divas in a new modern twist. Seriously, Hollywood needs to become thêm diverse of what beauty is and what it can be. It can’t be just one image. Everyone should be able to feel beautiful, sexy, and desirable.

Also (not that this has anything to do with the topic but) I have to give it up to Tommy Wirkola for actually seeming to put some thought and care into his movie. Yeah, the idea of Hansel and Gretel with súng hunting witches and looking like a video game Sucker cú đấm movie is very wacky and weird but at least it's creative & unique. Wirkola is making his adaption his own and that's what directors should do with these fairy tale adaptions. WE all know the story of Hansel and Gretel so the fact that his takes place after the events of the story we know seems to be a smart di chuyển because now the audience doesn't know what to expect and they won't be told the same story over and over again with but with different sets.
So the Disney Princess người hâm mộ for the tháng of April is Dweep! Congratulations! I for one have noticed all the work she's been putting into our spot and whole-heartedly agree with the verdict. So let's get right down to the interview shall we?

How long have bạn been active on this site?
I think I joined in the late summer of 2009. Me and my best friend wanted to find out which Disney Princess was the prettiest so we looked it up and got to this site. But it wouldn't let us vote unless we were a member so I made an account. I named the account "dweeb" because I felt like such a loser for joining....

In the Southland, there's a city, way down on the river, where the women are very pretty...

She crept down the corridor with a lit candle in her hand. Once she reached the outside of the mute girl's bedroom, she peered through the lock in the door knob. The Jamaican voice was telling her to bat her eyes and pucker her lips. Finally, as the girl fell asleep, đậu xanh, hạt đậu heard the voice kindly tell the girl she was completely hopeless. Princess...

I have tried/am trying to write a Disneyville high school but I'm having issues about how to represent the characters. I got Gaston down at the jock, and the triplets girls from Beauty and the Beast as cheerleaders Lọ lem and her steps are the new kids (but Ella's the protagonist).

These are who I have for teachers:
Jane Porter- English
Jafar Magic -Science-*picks on Aladdin*
Merlin History-history
Ursula Landvik -gym class/swimming coach *picks on Ariel*
Roger Radcliffe –music
Anita Radcliffe -home Ec.?

Students:
Aurora-(but likes to be called Rose) Pajari
Phillip Romanov
Aladdin Scott (I guess...

She and Snow White could be the most underrated to me
She and Snow White could be the most underrated to me
Here is the problem with most people on Merida: she's selfish and wanted to change her mom. I can agree with that yes, but she changed and genuinely apologized in the end. Now I'm not going to bring up Ariel, they are very different but comparing them makes me look desperate. You're free to disagree, we all have opinions.
Though yes. I'm aware an bài viết like this has just been written but the tác giả is fine with it, I've been nghề viết văn this for the past two days.

I used to hate the idea of Công chúa tóc xù and Merida herself. I thought there was no possible way she would become my yêu thích hoặc beat Rapunzel,...

The Little Mermaid
In the Disney version, Eric, Ariel, and Triton defeat Ursula, and Ariel turns back into a human and marry's Eric. In the tiếp theo movie, they have a daughter named Melody. But in the orginal version, The Little Mermaid sees the Prince marry a Princess, and despises it, so she is offered a dao, con dao to stab the Prince to death, but instead, she jumps into the sea and dies bởi turning into froth. Since Hans thought this ending was a little to "disturbing," he đã đưa ý kiến she became the "daughter of the air," waiting to go to heaven--- so in the end, she still dies.

Hi, everyone! Haven't written an bài viết in awhile, and I thought I'd get back into it. I've missed doing them. This is an bài viết about my yêu thích princesses, which I have done, but it keeps changing, so give me a break. lol. I'm going to do my yêu thích couples next. I'd like to give honorable mention to DreamyGal, who inspired me to start working on that article. But right now, I'll just go with this, because I'm having trouble ranking the pairings, haha....anyways, enjoy! No rude các bình luận please.

So I wanted to rank my yêu thích phim hoạt hình in the films, but I find it hard comparing hand-drawn and CGI since they're so different, so I just decided to make one for hand-drawn. I think all of the Disney films have amazing phim hoạt hình and each film has a unique phim hoạt hình that really makes the film special. So, let's get started!

9. Beauty and the Beast

WHAT?!?! Yes, Beauty and the Beast is last. It was really tough deciding between my ninth, eighth, and seventh place, but I ultimately went with BatB as last. Yes, some scenes are extremely beautiful (the ballroom scene), but the rest of the animation...
