A rant on Cinderella, ngôi sao of the Disney Princess franchise.

Obviously, as many would know, Lọ lem is easily the most được ưa chuộng princess on a global scale. But why? Here are some reasons. Her story is one of, it not the most well known fairytale of all time. Though she is beautiful, her features are rather typical. This means she can be used to represent all the princesses. Her movie was a massive hit that started a cycle of successful films(Alice In Wonderland, Peter Pan). Not to mention, her iconic dress and glass slipper. And finally, her movie is the yêu thích of Walt Disney himself. It's clear to see why Lọ lem is so universally loved.

Like Mulan, there aren't alot of negative things to say about Cinderella. But If there's one thing that bothers me, is that she's too passive. She lacks the courage to simply to stand up to her wicked stepfamily. There is no real reason for Lọ lem to be intimidated bởi them. Though her patient and humble nature is admirable, it can be somewhat irritating. She is basically a slave in own her trang chủ and doesn't seem to be interested in making things better, except for dreaming and wishing. While having faith is a good thing, it's also important to be assertive when needed and take control of your own destiny.

Let's talk about the mice, like other sidekicks they are the unspoken Giải cứu thế giới of the film. If it wasn't for Jaq and Gus, Lọ lem would have probably spent the rest of her life as a maid. They've constantly put their own lives at risk in helping "Cinderelly". Willingly putting themselves in danger for the sake of others. While it is hard to take such hilarious, goofy and cartoony characters seriously, Jaq, Gus, and the mice are indeed Giải cứu thế giới in their own right and clearly care deeply about Cinderella. An honourable mention must also go to Bruno the bloodhound, the birds and of course the Fairygod mother.

Because she's from the classic era, many people see Lọ lem as a damsel in distress, which is really unfair. A distressed damsel is someone is a woman in mortal peril. Lọ lem has never been in any real danger. There's also a conception that she was rescued bởi a prince. This is only a technicality as Charming never actively searched for her. Yes, it is his hand in marriage that ultimately gets out of her bad situation but it was Jaq, Gus and Bruno who saved her. She's the only princess who's sidekicks are far thêm reliable than her prince. With that said, Lọ lem has never relied on a man for anything.

People seem to forget to take personality into account when talking about the princesses as role models. There are many aspects of Cinderella's personality that make her worthy of admiration. Firstly, she's patient and kind, she treats her stepfamily with respect no matter how cruel they are and refuses to sink to their level. Secondly, she's faithful, she keeps hoping for a better life, no matter how gloomy her situation. Lastly, she's very genuine and real. The harsh treatment still affects her to some extent and she actually breaks down when it becomes too much. All this combined with her "princessy" traits make Lọ lem a great role model.

Lọ lem is also one of few princess who's sequels must be mentioned particularly A Twist In Time. Of course, like any modern telling of the Lọ lem fairytale, she is transformed into a strong, independent and feminist friendly woman, silencing common criticisms of the princess. Though this is abit irritating, it is refreshing to see Lọ lem taking intiative and actually earning her happy ending.

As much as I tình yêu the Disney Company, I hate what they've done to Cinderella. Her gorgeous silver ballgown was changed to a bright blue color and her beautiful dâu, dâu tây blonde hair was changed to bright yellow, not blonde, yellow. I always questioned Disney's choice for doing this. Is it a marketing strategy? I really don't get it. It's really saying something about modern soceity when even the beautiful features of Lọ lem aren't good enough and must be altered.

It's arguable to say whether hoặc not Cinderella's perfect. She's delicate, poised, beautiful and other basic traits one would want in a princess. She's also abit of pushover and not very brave. Unfortunately, the film never really acknowledges how passive and timid she is. So as far as the movie's concerned Lọ lem is perfect but to us she is not as flawless as she's made out to be.
 Thanks for reading!
Thanks for reading!

To me Lọ lem represents strength, from within. She puts up with tragedy, humiliation and abuse and still manages to have faith and keep singing. Many people would be suffering from depression if they lived her life but Lọ lem keeps her head held high.

#9. Lọ lem
Yep. Sorry,Cinderella fans. She's at the bottom of my countdown. I mean,it's not that I don't like her hoặc anything. I tình yêu her. She's kind and beautiful like all the other princesses and her movie is great, too. It's just that it seems like she's the most typical princess and has the most typical story. I understand it's very well known but still,it seems to be told thêm than any other fairy tale. So,she's just not as exciting to me as the other princesses. But,hey,I'd choose her over Hannah Montana any day. ;)

The Liveliest Disney Princess

The Disney Princesses vary in many ways, and their liveliness and energy levels are no exception to this rule. Some princesses are thought to be relatively calm, relaxed, and laid-back. Others are thought to be spunky and energetic far thêm often. Which princesses are considered thêm lively than the others? To find out, read this article.

As bạn can see from my icon-avatar-thingy, I just adore Belle from the bottom of my heart. Why? Oh, only a hundred reasons! But, to make it short, I'll danh sách just a few. :D

I. She Loves Books
Obvious enough. The first couple of scenes of the movie, we could see her talking enthusiastically to the baker about a story she just read. Then, she proceeded to go to the bookstore and borrowed (or as it turned out, given) a book that she read all the way to her home.

Now, this gave positive remark to all young girls out there that they should read and be imaginative like Belle. After all, I, who fell...

So I was searching the internet trying to find pics to use on the site(and finally learn how to uplaod pictures!) when I stumbled across a work-in-progress Công chúa tóc mây trailer. Apparently, it leaked out and someone đã đăng it one youtube. At first I thought "OMG OMG A Công chúa tóc mây TRAILER!!!!!!!!!", but I was sadly dissapointed.

From what I saw in the trailer, it looks a lot like the male lead is the major focus of the film, with Rapunzel as the hot chick he wins over. Their was a bit to much humor for my liking, but it's a trailer so oh well. In summary, this is the best I can explain it.

Hi guys, I decided to write another review on Nữ hoàng băng giá again after the first one was short, I also attempt to sound frank and straightforward than my first one. Here we go:

Scenery

The scenery reminds a lot of Tangled, except for the fact that it's set in Norway and it really brings a great introduction to Scandinavia through a Disney movie. That I would tình yêu to go to Scandinavia, not just Norway.
I'm really happy that Arendelle is set at as a countryside near the sea and the mountains that it reminds me of my time in Salzburg, Austria. As it brings pleasantness and joy to it.

A few months cách đây it seemed these were popping up pretty often, and I really wanted to make one, but I had a tough time choosing which scene was my yêu thích from each movie. I didn't include Nữ hoàng băng giá though, because I'm still unsure what my yêu thích is. Well, I've finally narrowed it down for the others and came up with something that made me pretty happy, so let's go! I hope bạn enjoy :)

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

It was extremely tough choosing between With a Smile and a Song and the ending, but With a Smile and a Song wins out for me. The song isn't exactly the reason it places here, but...
