xin chào everyone.

Since I've been a member of this club for a năm I guess it's time for me to introduce myself. That's why, first and foremost... hi:) My name is Mary (Maria is my full name actually, but I've been Mary everywhere online) and "Ksand" is the first half of my actual last name which is rather long, boring and hard to pronounce even for me. I live in Russia, so English is not my first language - don't judge hard. I'm 23 and yes, I am obsessed with Disney in every way possible.

Cliche to say, but I've been a Disney lover since forever. In my childhood years it used to give me inspiration, during high school it gave me strength and now it just helps me to get through another ngày and battle my depression. I tình yêu pretty much all the Disney phim chiếu rạp to a thêm hoặc lesser extent, but my favourites are: Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Little Mermaid, Mulan and Tangled. I can watch them countless times and never get bored. They give me all the feelings.

When it comes to Disney Princesses, my favourites are Ariel, Mulan and Rapunzel, my danh sách used to change quite a lot, but now I feel like for these three I have some sort of an unconditional tình yêu and honestly I don't see it ever changing. While other Disney girls I have certain issues with, these three always make me overprotective when it comes to them, their actions and choices no matter how shallow it might be of me:) But I tình yêu all kinds of discussions and appreciate all kinds of opinions, that being one of the major reasons I joined this club in the first place.

I can't say I'm similar to any of these girls (although some people did compare me to Rapunzel because of my tình yêu for drawing, but mostly because of blonde hair and green eyes, I guess...), but I can relate to all of them in some way: to Mulan because of her insecurities and desire to find herself, to Ariel because of being a rebel, to Rapunzel because of her artistic nature and because I had to deal with the same emotional pressure from some of my family members that she went through with Gothel. So first and foremost, for me, Disney Princesses are heroines that give me hope for a happy ending, inspire me to fight for it even in the darkest hour.

My favourite Disney couples are: Hercules/Meg (I know, I know that Meg is not a princess, just sharing my tình yêu for this perfect, selfless tình yêu they created), Eric/Ariel, Rapunzel/Flynn, Mulan/Shang and Aladdin/Jasmine.

Other things I'm fond of:

Harry Potter

âm nhạc - I can listen to pretty much anything, I don't have any particular preferences regarding genres hoặc artists, what's important to me is being able to relate to a song I'm listening to, to be inspired bởi it's music, to escape reality for at least 2 minutes.

starlight77 Nice article. We have a lot in common. I love Ariel, Mulan, and Rapunzel too. I also like Titanic, pizza, and all of your favorite couples except for Ariel and Eric. I'm glad to have another Shulan fan on here.

maryksand starlight77 - thanks:) Very nice to meet you. And I'm glad you like Mulan/Shang too (as well as other things we have in common:)), I always thought they were amazing but very underrated as a couple.

chesire Cool article. Herc/Meg are one of my fave pairs too. And I love the Back to the Future trilogy too :D It's a shame Michael Fox had to have Parkinson's disease. He's still a great person up to this day though. :)

maryksand chesire - thank you and nice to meet you:) I agree with what you said and I'll always appreciate Michael as an actor no matter what. The trilogy is amazing:) And great to know there are a lot of Herc/Meg fans out there:)

maryksand ^ Thanks, I'm glad we agree:) Ariel is my favourite girl but I think Mulan is a little bit better as a character, that's why she is my number one. But I love the three of them a lot. Thank you for your comment and it's a pleasure to meet you, once again:)

BraBrief Omg! You're like Rapunzel, you're so pretty :) anyway...I love Herc x Meg, too! <3 mainly because of Meg, she's my favorite Disney Female Character :)

maryksand ^ Thank you for such a lovely comment!:) Although I'm not as pretty as Rapunzel but I'm glad that you think I recemble her:) And Hercules & Meg were a truly epic couple, their love was so beautifully selfless, despite all the complecations and unusual circumstances when it comes to the beginning and the progression of their relationship (I honestly think they had the best build up when it comes to Disney romantic couples). "Hercules" is the kind of movie where I loved and related to both male and female character:) Meg is awesome and I wish she was an official Disney princess, after all, she ended up with the son of a Greek god who was technically a god himself despite choosing to stay on earth with her and live his life as a mortal.

BraBrief ^ I always cry in this part :*) anyway I agree...Herc is a kind of prince,so Meg could be a princess merrying him... like Belle, Tiana or Cinderella

maryksand ^ Aww, thank you! My slightly resembling Rapunzel's eyes is one of a few things I like about myself, haha. Thanks for commentm nice to meet you (lovely icon btw:)). They are my favourites as well!
