If bạn look at this list, bạn might notice that most of those songs and scores are set to montages. They are played when either a longer timespan passes by, hoặc when the movie tries to convey some sort of development hoặc message. This time around, Aladdin và cây đèn thần and Lọ lem are not included, there was no song hoặc score which fit the criteria.

8. Princess and the Frog: Yeah, I think this will surprise no one. I đã đưa ý kiến it before, but here the main problem I have with “Dig a little deeper”: The text makes no sense. It’s an example of what happens, when someone uses figurative language without really thinking about the figure of speech chosen. “Dig a little deeper” is not the most creative allegory, but on its own it works. “Blue Skies and sunshine” is a great contrast to Dr. Facilier’s magic, which is based on shadows. But combine those together and bạn get the oddest picture imaginable – dig a little deeper and you’ll find blue skies and sunshine? I wasn’t aware that I have to dig to the other side of the earth.
Another thing I really dislike about this is the upfront message. Mama Odie is thêm hoặc less telling Tiana and Naveen what they should do next, instead of allowing them to come to their own conclusions. Nothing against giving them a hint, but this text is thêm hoặc less a manual to a happy ending (how Tiana could misunderstand the song at all is beyond me). The important part are the rules of the curse – but it would have been really nice to get those closer to the start of the movie, not when it’s nearly over. (Truthfully, I would have preferred to watch Tiana and Naveen trying to reach Lottie a whole ngày instead of wandering aimlessly around in the swamp.)
And the âm nhạc – I suppose if I heard the piece a couple of times, I might grow to like it, but I don’t really want to. It doesn’t engage me at all.

Fanpop says: This got voted as the worst, although it has at least one fan. “Dig a little deeper is awesome” (ajotma). There is also some definite dislike for it, which seems to be similar to the reaction Snow White sometimes gets. “I dislike Mama Odie and her song even more” (ArielandEric).

7. The Little Mermaid: “Tour of the Kingdom” is a nice, catchy melody, which underlines the ngày Eric and Ariel spend together really well. But it’s also what we call in German “Plätschermusik” – âm nhạc which is played in the background to lull in our senses. As much as I tình yêu this one, I think that the other pieces on this danh sách do a better job in elevating the scene they are played on.

Fanpop says: This is one of those middle songs, which are neither overly liked nor overly disliked. Some sự bỏ phiếu in each category, one hoặc two mentions as runner-up.

6. Snow White: I admit I cut the movie a little bit slack here. If it was done today, Snow White wouldn’t sing “With a Smile and a Song” sitting down while the động vật are hopping around her, she would walk through the forest towards her destination. Since she does just sit down, it boils down to her saying “I’ll get though this” in a very lengthy manner, something which would pull this song towards the very bottom of the list, if I didn’t know that the arrangement is related to the problems with human animation. If bạn pay attention to the movie, you'll notice this couple of times: Snow White is either sitting down, hoặc fading into the background, while the động vật hoặc the dwarves take over the scene.
A neat little trick, overall, but for this list, I might have put Snow White at the very bottom nevertheless, if not for the other song “Whistle While bạn Work”. It works perfectly to fill the time between Snow White arriving at the cottage and the dwarves coming home. While cleaning is not a really exciting theme for a song, this is one of the tunes which just stuck in your mind. From all the songs in “Snow White and the seven dwarves”, this is the most modern one – hoặc perhaps, it’s the one which has the most drive to it.

Fanpop says: “With a smile and a song” got voted third worst, and a lot of dislike was expressed for both songs, because, what a surprise, Snow White sings them. I wish I would at least once get a bình luận about the songs and not about the character hoặc her voice.

5. Beauty and the Beast: I originally considered “Something There” as tình yêu song, and it is one in a sense, but even thêm it’s the mô tả of Belle and the Beast getting to know each other. It’s a good song, which describes the feelings of Belle and the Beast very well, a song I really love, but taking a good look at it, it's mostly the scene which makes the song special. It has the nice, thoughtful feel to it, though.

Fanpop says: Third best, so I went a little bit against được ưa chuộng opinion. “I tình yêu the way we see them falling in love, it is a so romantic song.” (Saphir).

4. Sleeping Beauty: I suspect most of the people had no idea what score I meant when I put “A Fairy Tale Come True” up for vote. To clarify: The score gets played twice in the movie, the một giây time shortly after Prince Phillip has defeated Maleficent, when he goes up the tower to Kiss Aurora. But the first time is the reason I put it on this list: It’s when Maleficent shows Phillip the future she has planned for him in her crystal ball. What makes the scene so griping for me is the fact that she isn’t gloating (well, she is, but in a very unusual manner), she is telling him a story – her voice would fit a fairy tale audio play, the âm nhạc has this romantic feel to it, but we see this image of Philip as an old, broken man in a truly horrifying future. I like the synchronism in using the same âm nhạc for the possible happy ending for the villain and the real happy ending.

Fanpop: một giây worst, which isn’t really surprising, considering that nobody seemed to have an idea what score I was talking about. There is a difference between not remembering a score played in a certain scene, and not knowing a score because bạn happen to not know its name. I suspect that the latter was the real problem here. At least nobody đã bình luận on the score itself.

3. Tangled: The “Kingdom’s Dance” might be the best piece of âm nhạc in Tangled. Just hearing the âm nhạc I automatically want to dance, but that’s not what makes the score special. It’s the way the âm nhạc gets faster and faster, crescents, up to the point when Rapunzel and Eugene are meeting each other, just to stop abruptly. That’s so well done.

Fanpop says: Fourth place, but it is a typical runner-up song and got mentioned a couple of times. “This one and the Kingdoms Dance from Tangled.I just the âm nhạc to it,it makes bạn want to dance! I know when I was at Disney World Rapunzel and Flynn showed me how to do the kingdom dance,it was fun!” (PociandSmith)

2. Mulan: I really shouldn’t enjoy “Make a man out of you” that much. Take it out of context and it’s a celebration of every male stereotype possible. The military tune, being a girl used like an insult – a band which played this would be labeled as sexist immediately. But I do, because the song doesn’t shy away from playing with those stereotypes (while being a good solution to shorten the time Mulan spends in training, without skipping her development).
And the other song, “Honor to us all” is thêm hoặc less the mirror to it, celebrating the female stereotypes. It’s less epic than “Make a man out of you”, but a good song nevertheless, and it works perfectly to hiển thị the society Mulan has to live in.

Fanpop says: “Honor to us all” is one of those middle songs. “Make a man out of you” on the other hand made một giây place, with a lot of runner-up mentions. “Love it. I sing is all the time” (ellie53)

1. Pocahontas: If I would just follow my personal taste, I would put “Colors of the Wind” lower, simply because I don’t like it when someone hoặc something is preaching to me. The whole message of the song is so upfront, although it at least uses some nice metaphors to convey it. But I can’t argue with a melody that powerful, an arrangement that well done. This is not just a song; it’s THAT song, the one the whole movie is build around. Add the animation, and there is really no contestant for it – at least not in this category.

Fanpop says: Not unexpected, the clear winner.

I've đã đưa ý kiến before that I can't make a ranked Disney Princess danh sách because I tình yêu hoặc like all the princesses to a certain extent, so it's impossible to put them in a strict 1 to 13 order. However, some have requested that I just write my thoughts on each one, so I'll do that here. I'll danh sách each princess in order from when she came out.

Snow White - I feel pretty neutral about her. Snow White and the Seven Dwarves was one of the first Disney princess films I saw since I got it for giáng sinh at age three. I liked the movie, but truthfully Snow White never made an impression. She was just kind of...

Team 1989?
Hello everyone, as I did for trước đó Disney Princess reboots, here is a comparison of the 1989 animated film with its 2023 live action reboot. With that being said, let's dive in!

The Storyline

While the storyline is faithful to the 1989 animated feature, I was very happy that there are several scenes that actually filled in the plot hole. Like we get to see Prince Eric's adopted mother and their relationship between mother and son. tied
Speaking of parental relationship, Ariel's relationship with her dad remains the same, except that in the animated feature. King Triton is a very hot tempered...

7) Bejewelled Princess Dress

This dress is over-the-top! She is not the type of princess who would appreciate being decorated like a giáng sinh cây and then find that she cannot walk without feeling the heaviness of weight pulling her down. It doesn't suit her at all.

6) Makeover glittery and patterned dress

This is better than the last one but still over-the top. This time it's the vàng patterns on the skirt. There's too many patterns. The áo che thân trên, đồ lót, bodice part is more. subtle with a singular pattern on the side. I like that. But the shiny blue sleeves are distracting. Too shiny. Her headband is...

We've come to the big one. I hear Belle called a Mary Sue a lot, thêm than any other princess aside from maybe Rapunzel.

Unique traits without contacts hoặc hair dye- No. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
An odd name- No. 'Belle' isn't that odd of a name.
Looks constantly đã bình luận on- God yes. The town literally sings an entire song about it (along with how odd she is). It's literally in the tiêu đề of the movie, along with her name. 1.
Multiple characters falling for her- Yep. Beast and Gaston, plus the whole town calling her beautiful. 1.
Gets into the relationships she wants- No. Her relationship...

10- Pocahontas
I don't like John Smith in the movie Pocahontas and I hate Poca and John's relationship. John Smith really embarrasses me and the scenes with him are disgusting. But frankly, I tình yêu all the characters except John Smith. Percy, Nakoma and Pocahontas are great characters....

Aurora was always third on my beauty list, but I had replaced her with Belle. Now there's Aurora instead of Rapunzel and Ariel, so she's fourth on my list. Aurora is a very beautiful princess.

Her hair reminds me of a golden waterfall. It's really nice to have your hair curled. Also, Aurora's eyes are perfect! màu tím color. The rarest eye color. Her lashes are also gorgeous and united. The shape of his payload is oval which is perfect. bạn are amazing Aurora.

I find Aurora very beautiful, but I can't say I tình yêu her very much because I find her absolutely boring. She knows nothing but dancing, hát and getting up with a kiss.

mmmm...I guess the one thing I like about her is that she really knows how to take care of herself out there. -Swanpride

She does one unique thing for a Disney princess: she is called out on her selfishness and mistakes bởi the narrative, owns them, AND works to fix the problem. She realizes her mom has a point as much as Merida herself does and learns to appreciate her. Also, she learns true bravery- not shooting arrows, swinging a sword, hoặc climbing waterfalls, but admitting bạn caused harm. That's never easy. Merida avoids some of the outdated tomboy princess tropes bởi doing all this, but...

Hey, guys! Happy beginning of Autumn! Anyway, a few weeks ago, I decided that I would maybe think about rewatching Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs for the first time in nearly five years. But for those of bạn who are wondering what films I was thinking of watching hoặc rewatching and nghề viết văn about on Fanpop, here they are (I might put in đường dẫn to the các bài viết once I finish them):...
