This time around, Mulan is not listed - although the movie tổng thể is very down to earth, there is a little bit magic, mainly Mushu's transformation from stone into flesh. But those sequences are too short to be considered here.
9. Princess and the Frog: There is a lot of magic going on in Princess and the Frog – but since the magic of Facilier belongs into the category villain song, only the transformations at the very end (Ray to ngôi sao and Tiana and Naveen into humans) will be taken into account here. And it’s at the bottom of the danh sách for a simple reason: They are not memorable. They are so unmemorable, that after watching the movie two times for another article, I was wondering the same evening if there even is some sort of score, and was finally forced to watch this part again, and then I had to figure out what the official tiêu đề of the track is (“This is Gonna be good”), because I kept forgetting the melody. Hence the last place for this one.
Fanpop says: Nobody seems to particular like this one, not one best vote and it came in as một giây worst. “It's the best piece in the film, but it's still nothing special.” (fhghu)
8. Sleeping Beauty: There are three songs which I put into the enchantment section: “The Gift of Beauty”, “The Gift of Song” and “Sleeping Beauty”, which gets played when Aurora is sleeping and the three nàng tiên are putting everyone else to sleep. Then there is also the segment in which Merryweather counteracts the curse. Those tunes are beautiful, truly magical, and the only reason they got this placement is that I had to be nitpicky again - and “Sleeping Beauty” might be a little bit too soothing – after all, the audience isn’t suppose to get put to sleep too, right?
Fanpop says: Another one which is unpopular, but nobody really đã bình luận on it.
7. Pocahontas: “Listen with your heart” has a wonderful tune, no question. My main beef with it is that “Listen with your heart” is thêm hoặc less all the song has to say. It’s such an upfront message, which doesn’t get thêm interesting bởi getting repeated in the movie a couple of times. It somewhat works, but it's neither very creative, nor that memorable compared to other songs on this list.
Fanpop says: We are now somewhere in the middle – although, thêm hoặc less every song is somewhere in the middle, with the exception of the clear winner.
6. Aladdin: “Prince Ali” is a totally different approach on a magic song. It’s loud, it’s fun – it’s perhaps a little bit too long, considering that the only purpose is to say “hey, Aladdin và cây đèn thần is now a prince and he is great!”
Fanpop says: I wish, I had thêm to write, but yeah, we are still between the middle songs, although some voted for the best for this one, and it was mentioned as a runner-up.
5. Snow White: The sequence with the transformation of the Queen is part of the track “I’ve been tricked”, and I think it deserves this place for the way it slowly builds up the suspense and then ends in a swirl of tones, fitting to the swirl of màu sắc on screen. It’s perfectly done, so well, I can’t hear the sequence without seeing the Evil Queen grasping at her throat before my inner eye.
Fanpop says: Seriously, is there are group of people who sự bỏ phiếu for Snow White as the worst, no matter what? This ended up getting voted as the worst, but as I mentioned before, the voting was very close together. And this time, it can’t be because Snow White’s voice is annoying. So, what’s so bad about this one? Is it because people don’t watch the movie, hence don’t remember the âm nhạc in it? Since nobody commented, I can only guess.
4. Cinderella: “Bibbedi Bobbedi Bo” gets a lot of brownie points for being creative and using a totally new magic phrase. But the melody itself is great too, very catchy and easy to remember. But perhaps the song is a little bit too upbeat – it lacks the dramatic touch most of the other pieces in this danh sách have.
Fanpop says: This one got a few reactions. “Classic but i've never liked it.” (PociandSmith) “What PociandSmith said. It's charming, yes, but it's not my cup of tea.” (ladyhadhafang). Overall, it was neither overly disliked, nor overly liked.
3. Tangled: Yes, I know, what I đã đưa ý kiến about “Listen with your heart” can be đã đưa ý kiến for the “Healing Incarnation” too. This song gets repeated not only one, but eight times during the movie. It gets played bởi Mother Gothel when she finds the flower, when she kidnaps Rapunzel, bởi little Rapunzel, very fast bởi adult Rapunzel, when Rapunzel needs light under water, when she heals Eugene and finally when Eugene dies. But although it’s always the same words, the situation and the meaning is so different each time, bạn barely notice the repetition. When Gothel sings it, it’s creepy. When Rapunzel as a child sings it, it’s heartbreaking considering the circumstances. Then it’s mostly played for fun. And at the end it’s not only heartbreaking, the words become a whole new meaning: “what once was mine” suddenly isn’t something vague, it engulfs all the feelings Rapunzel has for Eugene, her desperate plea to get him back. But the text also works on a different level, one which engulfes the whole movie. Rapunzel herself can be seen as the hoa who finally is allowed to shine, and she gets back the life and the family Mother Gothel kept from her during all those years. Most Disney Princess phim chiếu rạp seems to have one song which is thêm prominent than all the others, a song which underlines the main theme of the movie further. Often it is the "I want" song (Part of your world, A dream is a wish your tim, trái tim makes), sometimes it is the tình yêu song (Once upon a dream). If I had to choose one song from Tangled, it would be this one.
Fanpop says: Still in the middle section. “i tình yêu the way her hair glows it looks absolutely amazing” (sheep2901). I have to agree, the phim hoạt hình is stunning, especially in the scene when she heals Eugene.
2. The Little Mermaid: I shouldn’t put this one that high, I really shouldn’t, considering that it's so simple. On the other hand, the tune is just beautiful, and it is the main theme of the movie (I never realized how often “Part of your world” is inserted in one way hoặc another before). Plus, I tình yêu the evilness in using Ariel’s voice to enchant Eric.
Fanpop says: Basically, the same thing I say, place two for this one.
1. Beauty and the Beast: Should I even bother to explain this? With nearly 50% for best and not one worst vote, “Transformation” was the clear winner in the fanpop voting. “This pretty much sums up the Beauty and the Beast soundtrack; just amazing.” (mongoose09) I quite agree there, that's exactly the reason why I put it on place one.
9. Princess and the Frog: There is a lot of magic going on in Princess and the Frog – but since the magic of Facilier belongs into the category villain song, only the transformations at the very end (Ray to ngôi sao and Tiana and Naveen into humans) will be taken into account here.
