Consider that a woman is in the middle of a very painful pregnancy. She learns that there is a 90% chance that delivering the child will be fatal to her. She chooses to have the baby anyway.

Her husband would rather she abort and save her own life at the cost of the child's. He claims that they could, "Always try again."

But his wife refuses. She says that they have been trying to get pregnant for a long time and she loves her baby.
