I apologize for my reaction to this, but I find this câu hỏi especially frustrating. Well, let's see, I don't know. Can white people be against racism? Can straight people support gay rights? No, I mean, really, CAN they? Because everyone knows that the minorities just want to prove they are better than white people, and gays want to take marriage away from straight people, so why should straight whites support these endeavors at all? God knows, equal rights for minorities and the LGBT community is NEVER good for the straight white people in power, it never benefits the economy, it never benefits society, and it never leads to happier lives for anyone, LEAST of all the straight white people, so why should they care? If the above paragraph sounded ridiculous, it's because it is, but replace "minorities and the LGBT" with "women" and "straight whites" with "men," and bạn see how people talk about feminism and how ridiculous it is. Why is it that out of all the battles for equality, it's feminism that gets treated like it's different, like it's extremist, and like it's bad for society? And like it's not good for men, too? Feminism fights for the rights of men all the time, argues to take away the "feminization" of careers like nursing and elementary school teaching to allow thêm males to tham gia the profession without fear of being seen as unmasculine, gay hoặc a pedophile! (And yes, I have had a guy say to me, "I thought about teaching elementary but I didn't want people to think I was a pedophile because I like being around kids.") THAT is the feminist battle as much as battling rape culture, work place discrimination, and the way we talk about women in power in the media (read: we talk about how they look, not what they say, unlike how we talk about powerful men). So my câu hỏi to bạn is, what kind of man WOULDN'T be a feminist? What kind of white person WOULDN'T be in support of equal rights for minorities? That's the câu hỏi bạn SHOULD be asking.
