Well in the books Damon is always trying to get Elena, in the show he seems to be less interested. (I'm not saying that its true, just that they aren't showing him chasing her as much. But then again I haven't read the first books way too recently so *shrug*) But I'm also not saying that it's a bad thing.

i like it...they are taking it slow...^^ and ur right svgirl he does try to get her...after katherine...it will be like the books...they are just going through the katherine stage right now....when she dies...damon will be all over elena trust me lol!

They are taking it slow......one thing i don't like is the whole I'm so in love with Kathrine WTH since when is Damon so in love with Kathrine lmaooo.....he only went after her to piss off Stefan....but with Elena, Damon is getting a bit of Karma..its suppose to be about annoying Stefan, but the funny thing is Damon actually is in love with Elena lmaoo....karma karma karma lolll.....for the show they are taking the time to build up their relationship just like in the books
