the episode was awesome.

I loved DE scenes. I loved the whole transition. It has an action but SE was HORRIBLE!

Overall I liked the episode, even though it had way too much Stelena in it. Every season I stand them less, I can't help it :(. But the Delena scenes were good, even if a little too angsty. I especially liked the scene where Elena remembers 2x08, I loved how it was done.

How can it be that so many people give the episode a 1? Overall, it was a very good episode, and it was good for DE (did you honestly except Elena NOT being mad at Damon for hurting Matt? And you can't have expected Elena jumping right in Damon's arms after she had her memories back).

The episode was soooooooooo gooooooooood except the Stelena baaaaaad scenes!!!! But we'll get what we want <3<3

The DE scenes plus her becoming a vampire was awesome.
Other then that, an ok episode overall.

I rated it so low because to be honest I expected a whole lot more from the episode because every other season premiere has been fantastic and has set the bar for what the season holds in store, but since this episode didn't give it the best start I feel like this will effect the rest of season 4 and that is very disappointing. Overall it was an ok episode it had some potential and some things going for it, I adored the repeating of the 2x08 scene, and Damon telling Elena he would've saved her in a heartbeat scene. So it wasn't completely horrible, but I just expected more from it.

it was good but not the best premiere.

I'm still in shock that after waiting like 4 months, that was the episode that came up. I was expecting to rate it a 10 out of 10 not 7. The only reason I gave it 7 not 6 was because I liked the last scene. (Pastor blowing up himself and his friends.) I am happy with the two Delena scenes, but they weren't really heart to heart scenes about her new memories which I would have liked better.

Overall it was a good episode, but it would have been pushed up to an 8 maybe even a 9 if they had just toned down a bit on the Stelena scenes. They were rather melodramatic and we really and truly could've done without the roof scene, like sitting on a couch or something, just anything less cheesy.

Personally I loved the episode as a whole and the Delena scenes were amazing. I loved the angst of the Delena scene when Elena told Damon she remembered (his speech was so beautiful) + the moment Elena actually remembered was visually stunning and perfectly done.
I see alot of complaints about the SE scenes, their scenes didn't bother me. I was more focused on Elena and her transition. It was nice to see a more Elena centered episode. I also enjoyed Caroline's scenes in general (especially the one with Klaus) and Rebekah's moments.
