Damon & Elena Article: Negativity On This Spot

I am very sad that I have to write this article. It seems, lately, a handful of people on here, have been nghề viết văn very negative things, and frankly, it's immature, stupid and just plain annoying.

I can understand if bạn are upset with things that are happening. I understand that. BUT it gets to be too much, when bạn start bashing writers, characters and anybody involved with the show.

I have been seeing some very odd things too, where people say "Oh, we haven't gotten ANY Delena this last half of the season."
First off, I'd like to remind bạn that the first half of the season? Delena. And the moments that we have gotten in the một giây half of the season? HUGE. We have 2 kisses, Damon saying he'd wait for Elena, Elena FINALLY admitting that she has feelings for Damon, and basically figuring out that she is in tình yêu with him. AND in 3x21, she admitted that she considers him to be a candidate. That is HUGE.

Possibly the worst however, is that something happens to be Stelena related, and a select few people, decide to bombard the tường with negative comments, and saying Delena will never happen. It just causes everyone to become tired of đã đưa ý kiến people, and I mean this with the utmost respect, they just want bạn to shut the hell up.

I'd like to thank most of the people in the DE fandom who have kept hope, and are polite and civilized. This post wasn't meant to offend, and I'm sorry if it does to you, but I am really sick of the constant negativity bởi a group of những người hâm mộ on here. I would be really nice if they could keep the hope, but I guess bạn can't convince everyone.

Manonx THANK YOU! I'm just fed up with all this negativity.. I just try to tell people to remain hopeful, polite, and positive. It's just.. it doesn't work! And I'm not even talking about how annoying it is. I don't want my favorite fandom to be amnegative, annoying, immature group of people (only directed to those who you are talking to in your article, btw). Anyway, thank you for saying this. I'm a 1000000000000000000000000000% with you =)

bdavis98 we are not being negative we are just being realistic and not getting our hopes up again for NOTHING because even though we had DE for the first half and a little (but huge) for the second half, the whole time elena NEVER let go of "saint" stefan not for 1 freaking mint we might have gotten scenes but our scenes barley lasted for 1 mint when stelena scenes lasted to 2 to 4 mints not counting the whole stelena shipper on the show (caroline,matt,bonnie,tyler,klaus) and "saint" stefan lovers (klaus,caroline...) telling elena over and over and over that her & "saint" steafn are "epic" and the right couple and blah blah... even alaric damon's besy and only friend told him to back off from elena because he cooked with her so plz don't tell us we being (it's immature, stupid and just plain annoying.) to still have hope after everything we seen and deal with for 3 FREAKING seasons is being immature and plain annoying

I'm sorry,but that is patetic...we can't take every her word like she has something against Damon. Just get one thing: Writers would never,but never give us anything big about the finale before that finale comes,so...KEEP CALM AND BELIEVE IN DELENA! <3

overthedges Agree. I have to admit i can be very negative but i never write negative comments on the spot because it's annoying. But im positive about this finale i think we'll get something good!

delenasalvatore I know what you mean. I hate it when the first thing I see when I look at the wall is: 'I SWEAR I AM GONNA KILL THE WRITERS! WHY DO THEY DO THIS TO US?' and then proceed to blast Elena for being nice to Stefan, and rant and wail like the end of the DE fandom is nigh. In the first place, fans are not allowed to rant on the wall. I would say that it's well known. And yet I have found myself repeatedly asking them NOT to post negative comments on the wall - but they continue to do it. I have actually felt very depressed after visiting the wall just from reading the pessimistic crap they write even though I consider myself one of the most positive DE shippers on this spot. I think their behaviour is selfish. Just because they're upset doesn't mean everyone else has to be upset too. I want DE to happen as much as they do, and I get that it can be challenging sometimes - I was extremely upset after 3x14 aired but I managed to get over it. Secondly, we've had MORE Delena this seaason than Seasons 1 and 2. We've had TWO kisses, and a lot of amazing moments, and Elena is clearly in love with Damon and puts him on an equal footing with Stefan, suitor-wise. But you'd never think we've had all that from what certain people say. We've had to deal with Stefan and SE for 3 years, you would think they would have learned to chill out by now, but they get wound up about the slightest thing. It's a love triangle, and it's only just getting off the ground. They let their fears and paranoia get the best of them whenever there's a bump in the road - or even when there isn't. And that's annoying. Because DE is never going to be easy. If they wanted an easy ship, they should ship Stelena - except it's not even easy for them anymore now that DE have evolved so much. I get that they want DE to happen, but if they've waited for this long, then I don't see why they can't wait a bit longer, or however long it takes. The writers are never going to hand DE over to us on a silver plate, and wanting DE to get together right now isn't going to make them happen any quicker. Being negative doesn't help or change things. It is counter-productive to the fandom. It depresses people who are usually upbeat. And it ruins the enjoyment of DE for everyone else. I say: take your negativity elsewhere and stop ruining DE for the majority of fans who don't take pleasure in ranting, wailing and getting near hysterical when the occasion doesn't call for it. Misery might love company, but company DOESN'T love misery. Find another way to channel your negative thoughts but stop ruining the spot for everybody who wants to enjoy it.

Joline Finally someone who says what most of us think ! I'm getting really tired with the negativity on the wall everytime I visit this spot. Yes we have been waiting a long time for Delena to happen. But if you really ship them ...you just have to accept that you have to be patient ( And I have been extremely patient during the past seasons) And besides like others already metioned ...we've gotten plenty of wonderful Delena scenes this season. Just relax and enjoy those moments So I'm not going to freak out everytime I see a promo or a scene/episode, I don't like.....No I'm just going to sit here and support my ship the same way I do since season 1

SpuffyDelena It is annoying, but they won't stop. I've tried to stop it multiple times. The wall is the main source.

HaleyDewit Glad someone finally has the guts to say it! People need to stop being so negative and chill out for a sec. And even if every civilian of Mystic Falls ships Stelena, it's still going to be Elena's choice. Have a little faith.

eve_k I totally agree too!!!It is getting to much!!!It has come to a point that the first comment I see on the wall is negative one..And it doesn't seem to stop!!!How complicated is for people to just use the rant-thread?S2 was way worser for DE.S3 in overall has been a very good one.Just stop with the negativity!!!!!!!!!!!!
