I think they'll make a một giây movie because the ending was like a cliffhanger and the một giây movie will most likely be called Vampire Mountain. The movie might be out in 2011 hoặc 2012 because they can't decide on the sequel hoặc plot of the movie.

I don't think that would be a good idea. I didn't like the first movie very much and I'm sure there are other people who read the sách who felt the same. It wasn't HORRIBLE but I can't stand when they don't follow the books. It was such a great series but I felt like they took away the real reason I liked them. I wouldn't mind a một giây movie if they follow what's supposed to happen.

i hope theres a một giây movie because the first was bolloks compared to the books. it took me a tháng to read the whole series. the sách are seriesly good and i would personly recomend them to any one tbh. Also has any one read the new Larten Crepsley Book , because i read it in a weekend and it was QUALITY!! :)

They were dropping hints throughout the movie that made it obvious that there HAS to be a sequal. According to Chris Massoglia, a sequal will come depending on responses from the fans. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't and just left us hanging like that; they scewed everything else up.

I saw the 1st Cirque du Freak:The Vampire's assistant last năm and really liked it.I hope they make a 2nd movie though I read the sách and the movie makers put some things the same, but the details were off for example Debbie hemlock being Rebecca a monkey girl and steve's BIG revealment of being a vampaneze were both different from the book(among other things). I think if there were to be another movie they would majorly need to work some things out.

there will be a sequel but in order for them to recieve the book rights for Vampire Mountain and get the "green light" to start, they have to have all the "KEY" actors and các nữ diễn viên back and one of the lead actors(josh hutcherson/Vampaneze) is busy starring in 3 other phim chiếu rạp and just finished starring in red dawn so i would guess that the sequel will start shooting in late 2012 hoặc 2013

I hope so! I loved the series. But the thing i didn't like was that they didn't stick to how the first movie went because Steve doesn't come up as a vampanese until LATER in like what the 5th hoặc 6th book? There most probably will not be a 2nd one, as they did not do so well at the box office and reviews from critics. Which I find unfortunate as I really do like the saga :(

I just saw the movie on Syfy and I certainly hope a sequel is made. I really enjoyed the new take on ma cà rồng and the themes of acceptance of diversity. As the world tends towards polarization in politics, religion, socialization, and economics, it is good to explore the values of acceptance and diversity.

I personally have read all the different series and trilogies of Darren Shan and loved it. True they poorly edited the movie but that's okay because, bạn learn from your mistakes and they need to think it through. On the plus side it was still a good movie and a một giây movie should be made.

I reckon it will come out in probably 2016 hoặc 2017 but I don't know for sure. The film is great, and the sách are KILLER!!! But yes, they left the film on a cliffhanger. They really should do another one soon.

It has now been 7 years and they haven't made a new movie, but I am hoping they will because it is not fear to not make the 2nd movie when the main part hasn't even happened yet.

I really liked the movie but I haven't finished the whole book series. I am on book 4 Vampire Mountain and it's good so far.

They will most definitely not make any thêm movies. at least not with the same actors as it is way to far down the line to bring back young master Shan for one. and if that wasn't the only reason for anyone who actually has read the books, ( I know a lot of bạn will have. ) They squashed all 12 sách down into one movie and I am very sorry to say that I found the movie itself abysmal in they way it was put together. I would tình yêu for some budding filmmakers from a college hoặc trường đại học to put together a short film series, even a TV hiển thị could work if they got the right cast and scripted it just right. Unfortunately I can't see that happening any time soon.

I don't know how they ever could continue the movies. They ruined the big twist already. Remember how we didn't find out what the little people were till around book 12? and it played a big part in how the movie ended? yeah now it's just a magic pocket watch that makes them. The idiot director wrote himself into a corner and ruined any chance of making it a prolonged story. Not to mention all the little changes here n there that ruined later plot twists hoặc important factors of the story.

Not to mention, if bạn watch the behind the scenes, the director got caught out admitting he'd been trying to get his shitty movie idea turned into a movie for agges, but nobody wanted to know. It was his shitty story that nobody wanted to know about.

What we should really be asking, is if the sách will ever get turned into a Netflix tv show. That's a lot thêm possible and would work a lot better. Easier to turn 12 sách into 12 seasons than 1-3 movies

I sure do hope they make a second, it would a horrible mistake to leave it at an end with the movie. The book series was incredible, and deserves a TV show, hoặc a whole new series like harry potter. unfortunalty they arent going to make a film for the một giây darran shan book because, the first film didnt get enough praise (it wasnt successful enough), so they wont bother making the một giây becase they think the outcome will be the same
