Why is it
the person I need most,
says He's there for me,
but yet He's so so far away?

Why is it
someone so mighty,
so powerful and huge,
has a voice that's impossible to hear?

Why is it
that when I give Him my sorrow,
and He takes it with no question,
more comes and quickly takes its place?

Why is it
that I'm supposed to follow His command,
and do what He says,
but He won't give me directions?

Why is it
that I should believe a practical stranger loves me
when those who know me best
say that lie to my face?

Though my mind was wondrous, but dim.
Being a part of plays in Church

I heard vague stories about God
I have never thought that He was a fraud.
Then as an early teen, I swore & carried on
Though I knew that He was the Son.
Later on, my dad & I moved out of town
At times, I remembered that He was around.

Suddenly, my grandpa got sick

For two years, we all helped him together
