Yes. When I lived in the Florida Keys I used to foster cats. The Keys, being an island chain, have a HUGE population of feral mèo and it has swamped local shelters (they had to convert the dog area into thêm cat cages just to make room) they depend on local volunteers to foster 'adoptable' feral mèo until a trang chủ is found.

My family is one of those families. We have 28 adopted mèo - most 'just appeared' in our garden. One we adopted from a drain outside a bakery shop. I want too in the worst way, but out last cat died about two weeks cách đây and my mom does not even want to think about getting/fostering a cat. We couldn't foster when he was around because he HATED other animals. He was 22, so we didn't even want to try it yet.
