 Marie on Oprah
Marie on Oprah
30 years after Marie Osmond married, then divorced Stephen Craig, she married him again. Some might say the woman is a glutton for punishment hoặc she never got over the man she truly loved.

Today, Osmond says she’s happier the một giây time around, and is grateful for the way her husband treats her.

According to press reports, Osmond’s một giây marriage to âm nhạc producer Brian Blosil wasn’t blissful bởi any means.

Globe Magazine reported that despite enduring terrible (emotional) pain, Marie never publicly detailed the humiliation she endured during her 20-year một giây marriage to the record producer. Celebrity journalist Randy Jernigan, tác giả of the best selling book THE LIFE AND CAREER OF MARIE OSMOND, has detailed Osmond’s experience in a tome that has received great attention recently.

Wed in 1986, they had seven adopted and biological children together. Blosil once flew into a rage when he heard rumors she was still in tình yêu with first hubby Steve Craig. “He and Marie argued, with Brian’s anger escalating,” Jernigan writes in his book. “He pushed her down the stairs with Marie ending up with a cracked wrist and bruises.”

Blaming Marie for his financial and career problems, Blosil’s “temper frightened and intimidated Marie” and he’d often put his fist through a tường in front of Marie, says Jernigan.

A close friend says Blosil once gave Marie a black eye and when they argued, she’d end up bruised and battered from him grabbing her hoặc pushing her down.
“Marie lived in a private hell,” writes Jernigan. “She was ashamed of what was going on and refused to let anyone in who could have helped stop the abuse.”

As the cruelty escalated, the tác giả says Marie pretty much dropped out of her âm nhạc career and her depression soon became “deep and dark,” leading to an attempted suicide in 2006 when Marie was rushed to an Orem, Utah, hospital.
Writes Jernigan, “Her relationship with Brian totally ripped her self-esteem from her and she began to feel her life wasn’t worth living.”

it wasn’t her first suicide drama, according to the author. Marie plunged into such a deep depression after the birth of seventh child Matthew in 1999 she ran away and pals feared the worst. “I felt my kids would be better off if they didn’t have a mother,” reveals Marie, who holed up in a hotel for three days before returning.
In March 2007, Marie finally filed for divorce, reportedly after learning Blosil, 61, may have abused their kids, which he denies.

But her agony was far from over. In February 2010, adopted son Michael, 18, jumped to his death from the 8th floor of an L.A. apartment building – sending Marie into a tailspin. The singer told Oprah that she had never lived through anything so rough as the death of her beloved Michael.

Marie, 54, and Steve, 57, wed for the một giây time in May 2011 – and became grandparents Dec. 19 when their son Stephen, 30, and wife Claire, 30, had a baby boy.

According to the author, the new book is not written in a tell-all style and will concentrate on Osmond’s career and her work for the Children’s Miracle Network which she founded with her family in the early 1980’s.

The book, The Life and Career of Marie Osmond, was published through Kindle eBooks July 6, 2015 and is the first in the người hâm mộ Book Series of Creative Partners Books. According to several news reports the book will be made into a ti vi movie with Jernigan nghề viết văn the screenplay.

People can enjoy them at any age, but these are especially great ones for kids and teens. There were so many to choose from, so I apologize that I had to leave out so many of my favorites. Let's all recapture youth! As always, these are in no particular order.

Chapter 1
“How would bạn describe me Lilly?” I asked.
“Paula, you’re a very smart and unique person. But also mysterious. In a good way.” She replied.
“How am I mysterious? I mean, I never thought of myself that way.”
“Because you’re always so quiet around people. Not around me, of course. It’s like bạn shut yourself down completely, like bạn don’t want them to know who bạn are.”
“But bạn know I’m very shy! Besides, I’m not very good at socializing, bạn know? I always make myself sound like a total freak!
