Anyone here read 'Little Women'?

I read Little Women. I'm like you, I don't really like that kind of book. I thought of it as cute. It definitely isn't in my hàng đầu, đầu trang 50. I was kind of bored đọc it. Again... it's cute. I read it to my younger sister and she loved it. I think bạn just have to enjoy that kind of book to really get into it.

I'm going to be honest, I did not like this book, but then I am not a người hâm mộ of 'sad' sách and this book was very sad to me. I do have a close friend who loves this as her yêu thích book. It's the story of four sisters growing up and it hits some important life lessons on poverty vs wealth, maturity, sibling rivalry. It was published in 1868 and because of the different style of nghề viết văn back then, it was not an easy read for me. Louisa May Alcott had a rough life and a lot of tragedy, which, in my opinion, shows up in her writing. If bạn don't mind melancholy and if bạn can adjust to the style, then bạn may like this book.
