I've noticed alot of whining about the new spot change.
Either you dislike the icon, dislike the banner or disklike both.

It kinda bothers me, so I thought I'd make one last try to satisfy you. Most of you seem to like either one of the two banners in one recent previous pick... so I figured it can be one of them. Then, when the banner's chosen... I'll suggest a matching icon or something.

And after that I'd rather not want to see more whining. Kay?

To mswaldass, I say just ignore it. From what I've noticed, it's always the same certain people who complain about every flipping change made to this spot. Clearly they are never going to be happy. You guys voted these in. I will change them for you again if you decide to do more picks but quite honestly if you do another set of picks, vote for a new banner/icon and I put up the ones that win - and people are still bitching about it - tough luck. I won't change it again so pick something and stick to it!

I really don't know why this icon and banner won when a lot of people aren't happy with it! I would say don't change anything to be fair (they won, period) but you're giving me the option and I don't really like both so..

See this is what bothers me, if we change the banner -- ppl will still complain because they liked this one. If we change the icon -- same thing will happen there.

I mean, the majority did chose this change so I can't see why the majority's complaining so much about it now.

Seriously, just make up your minds on weather there should be one final change or not. I'm not trying to be a bitch or anything, just trying to understand what you want.

Too much drama over a banner/icon again. I never voted for the ones we have now so i can proudly pick this option and just stick to it. I say change them both cause they honestly suck and that`s it. Blurry banner/disgusting redish icon. They don`t match. End of the story.

Then someone (because I'm not going to anymore) make new picks about changing the icon and/or banner. Use whatever you want or make ppl add siggestions to the pick. Chose something and be happy with it.

Or just forget about it and stick with what there's now.

It is not correct, 'cause if the most of us pick this banner, i don't understand why they should change it. If most of us pick this one make yourselves a reason..cannot always get what you want.

we never had problems before when the spot creator just picked! we all know who the spot creator is and ive always sent suggestions to her we could just have a forum where people could post banners and icons they love then when jhlfan wants to change it she goes there and picks what she likes! she has good taste and we never had problems before!

I agree with you Dawn. This is the best possible way! jhlfan has a very good taste in picking icons and banners for the spot and they actually match! What`s happening right now is very annoying! Sabina was just trying to please all the CB fans by let us pick spot banner and icon and all we do is whining about it. Why so much drama, seriously?

I actually like this idea. That's how I always did things before. I actually have a forum on here somewhere (too lazy to find it to link to it) where I asked for people to give me suggestions for spot banners/icons for this spot and the Blair, Chuck, Jenny & other GG related spots I created. I think only 1 or 2 people ever responded to it so I just occasionally came back in here to see if anything was said about the current spot banner or icon. If there was nothing bad, I left and kept things up until I saw some complaints. When I see complaints, I immediately find something I can change about it. I have only once seen somebody complain about the Chuck Bass banner, one a collage of season 1 I had up for the longest time, so I changed it to one of season 2. Everyone's happy. I've seen a few people complain about the Blair Waldorf spot icon occasionally and banner once. I changed the banner just recently to something similar to the Chuck spot (banners were probably made by the same person, I didn't do them), a collage of season 2 - a suggestion made by one of the spot members. I recently find out it's not very popular and the previous one was much better liked. I also changed the icon which was complained about and someone made a pick asking if making a pick about icon changes was okay.

Honestly, I will not make picks every time I want to change the spot icons and/or banners. I think it's rather silly. Plus given that this spot has a lot of opinionated and active fans whom are passionate about Blair and Blair/Chuck, making a pick every time to see if it's okay to change the icon mainly is just rather pointless. NOBODY is going to agree on one thing, people are going to bitch. It's just life.

TL;DR but I wanted you guys to know that I don't think I 'own' these spots I've made. I realize I'm not a fan of them anymore, and you guys are which is why I've always made it a point to check them every once in awhile after I make a change to see if it's okay or not. I have said numerous times I am open for suggestions. I won't always put up something that another fan asks me to, but I take into account how the general spot feels. The only spot icon I change to please myself mostly is the Chuck Bass one as I'm in it and not the others, anything else I change is generally to please you guys.

This goes not for this spot only but Blair Waldorf, Chuck Bass, & Jenny Humphrey. I only want to have to say it once.

I think they are both amazing! I couldn't do anything like that. People take the time to keep this spot running, and people are gonna bitch about it. Make your own spot and use your own art. That should solve the problem.
