I dunno, exactly. I think that BB would take an interest in Kira's ideals and Kira's methods, Kira in general. I also think that Kira's sense of justice is so skewed that he could become attracted to BB, regardless of his crimes, with no problem. Plus, they have a common goal: defeat L.
That and they have some amazing fanfictions written for them that convinced me. :P
