Do bạn think Avatar: Legend of Korra lives up to ATLA?

I personally dislike the Legend of Korra...so no. ATLA I think of as a masterpiece though~ Even if LOK was changed to have a thêm likable story line, characters, ect. I don't think it could ever live up to ATLA.

LOK was a gigantic letdown for me, I was expecting a whole lot thêm from the series, but was very disappointed for multiple reasons. One being that Korra was still an infant and she already had all 4 elements, which it took Aang a while to be able to use them, if anything, it should have taken her longer to learn it, because she was a lot younger, another thing is whoever that person is in the mask was was able to walk while another person was using bloodbending on them, making bloodbending useless. That pretty much sealed it for me.That's just a couple things I don't care for. And I HATE the fact that they have stuff like cars, radios, and stuff that wasn't there in ATLA.I know it's a lot farther into the future from ATLA, but it just doesn't feel like part of the series to me.

legend of korra is better

I don't think Legend of Korra could ever be as good as Avatar: The Last Airbender but I still liked the LOK. The characters could never be as good but I do like them and the plot. I thought it was interesting and all, but I wish it was funnier. It doesn't have the comedic element that The Last Airbender did. And I don't think its that bad. Maybe because the writers hadn't done anything after Avatar for a while they kinda forgot what liked about it. Something like that.

It was alright I guess bit it definitely doesn't live up to the original. The original was really special and obviously it was hard to live up to

My personal opinion is that ATLA was much better than korra. I think it may be the storyline. While ATLA followed a main topic throughout the whole series, the legend of korra did not. The first season of korra was all about korra learning air bending and defeating Amon, but the một giây season strayed completely off that and went onto a war of the water tribes. I thought that Amon would somehow be linked to this because of him be a water/blood bender and all but he never showed up again. Same with Tarlok. So to answer the question, no, I do not think the legend of korra lives up to ATLA.

No way! It can't compete ATLA. I don't like the characters nor the plot line and I find Korra to be very weak, Katara, Toph hoặc Aang could easily win her in a fight. But to be honest, I wasn't disappointed, because I didn't expect anything more, the sequel is almost never as good as the original.

Legend of Korra was a good show... if bạn judge it on its own. Does it live up to the first series? Not bởi a long shot, in my opinion. I liked it, don't get me wrong, but I really couldn't connect it to ATLA at all. The point was brought up that it was too modern, and I agree with that. The way that they talked was different too, and while I appreciate the hiển thị of a time difference, one does not go from the 1850 to 2013, so to speak. If I think about LOK as a sequel to ATLA, then I cringe and this feeling of disappointment comes over me, mostly because I have to deal with the fact that Sokka, Toph, Zuko, and Sokka are DEAD. I know it takes place in the future and people die of old age and whatnot, but it still hurts. What hurts worse are the characters that "replace" the originals. Aang is taken over bởi Korra (duh), Katara is replaced with Mako, Sokka is replaced with Bolin, and I don't know who Asami is supposed to take over for, if it was Zuko hoặc Toph hoặc they wanted to blend them....? So, to answer the question: No, LOK does not live up to ATLA, but it was pretty likable on its own.

I liked it because of the characters and the setting of a steampunk world of benders so if anything it is good but compared to ATLA its a minor shotout to the series

I don't think it's nearly as good as ATLA.

I felt the same way at first, but ATLA is still a lot better, but keept watching. Later on bạn see a LOT of relationships to ATLA, especially in the một giây season called spirits.
If bạn are missing the old characters, some are still alive. Katara, Zuko, Toph is, and Iroh is found in the spirit world. Zuko and Toph are not shown till the third season though. Iroh is shown in the một giây and third in the spirit world. It also includes a lot of the ATLA characters kids/grandkids and later on bạn will see that TLOK actually relates to ATLA in so many ways.
After watching two seasons of TLOK, I actually get the setting of ATLA even thêm now. It shows some flashbacks too of some ATLA characters as adults and not as old people.
They actually better than I thought once I got thêm into the series.
Even though ALTA is still better and I think it is way too modern day, I encourage bạn to keep watching it for the sake of learning stuff like how the first Avatar came to be, Lion turtles, spirits, and a lot more.

God no. Legend of Korra in general, just isn't a good show. Individually, it lacks depth, there are so many plot holes and asspulls because the nghề viết văn is poor and contradicts ATLA constantly, and the characters in general are just lacking, especially our main protagonist. When in comparison with ATLA, LOK just fails.
I agree. It is a pathetic excuse for a sequel. I've been watching LOK for however long it has been on, and now, as we are nearing the end of the season (finally!), I can't say that the hiển thị has improved. It's just so awful......
