"Being an atheist (being non-religous) is a lot easier than being of any other religion - because it isn't a religion! Doesn't get any simpler than that, does it? If bạn want to be Christian, there's all kind of little annoyances that follow with it that just make bạn want to say "Oy Vey!" and give up. Same thing goes for being Jewish (wearing dumb hats in public), Muslim (starting holy wars and wearing veils), Buddhist (setting yourself on fire) and every other major religion. For example...

Top Ten Signs You're a Fundamentalist Christian

10 - bạn vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed bởi other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of yours.

9 - bạn feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but bạn have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.

8 - bạn laugh at polytheists, but bạn have no problem believing in a Triune God.

7 - Your face turns purple when bạn hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but bạn don't even flinch when...

" I deal with Christian lies on a daily basis. These lies range from the myth that Einstein was a theist, to the claim that there is conclusive evidence for Jesus’ existence. I had to make this page so that I could collect some common lies told and present the truth behind the matter. There are hundreds of things I feel compelled to discuss but I shall it to a hàng đầu, đầu trang five list. The hàng đầu, đầu trang five lies Christian’s tell:

Darwin recanted on his deathbed. This is completely fabricated and has...

Questioning The Gods.

It is important for us, for the sake of the develpment of humanity, to câu hỏi what we are told. For if we do not, we become conformists. Dumb, lazy, easily fooled conformists in a totalitarian world of oppression. To câu hỏi is to form individual thoughts and opinions, to stray away from the herd of sheeple. When it comes to God, it is also important that we câu hỏi him.

In the schools, despite religion being a controvercial topic, teachers still continue to make references to their Judeo-Christian god and give their realities to their students. These children have...

I found this on a website, and lets just say that it's one of the biggest FAILS I've ever come across. Clearly whoever made this has never learned about the Water Cycle, *facedesk*

"The amount of water on earth is 1.386x10^21 liters.

Lets assume that people will only use 2 liters of water per day. This is a lot less than people actually use, but for simplicity we'll only take the optimal drinking quantity per day.

There are 6 billion people on earth (closer to 7 billion, but let's be generous to the atheists). This means that we drink 12 billion liters of water per day. (12x10^9 liters)...

Okay. I resently joined this club. Before I start I would like to say that I HATE 'god' and Christinaty and all of it's insane(only insane) followers who think us normal people should respect their little imaginary freind.

I looked through some images, most of them had nice comments...but after I saw a few...I saw some CHRISTIANS bình luận on how angry they were hoặc how they want to 'spread the word'.

All I want to Lời khuyên bạn Atheists is:
Don't reply to them, hoặc if bạn reply just say '@[username]Get out, this spot ain't for you.', bạn know what they say, 'silence is golden'.

And all I want to tell...

Benefits of Living Free
from Christiantiy & theism...

1)You are not supporting all of the attacks on personal freedom and harm that comes with supporting the Bible as an infallible nguồn of truth.

2)You are free to explore the Universe's TRUE beauty and mysteries, even when it contradicts ancient mythology. The grandeur of the universe is far beyond the imagination of any religion.

3)You are free to learn your true origins and connection to the universe.

4)The time that would be spent at church hoặc with church groups can now be used for thêm productive means.

5)Instead of worrying what Jesus...

Is God a divine being of truth? hoặc is he a sadistic monster?
A lot of Christians go about their daily lives thinking: God is everything. He is just, kind, and wise. He would never hurt anyone! All those people suffering and being killed? Oh, they’re all devils; God has the right to kill them. Even though the Ten Commandments clearly state: Thou shalt not kill. But of course, God is special! What about those good, hard-working, loyal Christians suffering? Oh, God’s just testing them. For what? A maths test? Even if this false deity existed, he has shown evidence of is sadism.

"As an atheist, bạn will occasionally meet a non-atheist who wishes to argue against your belief system. If bạn are interested in discussing the matter, bạn may want to prepare yourself bởi learning these simple responses to common anti-atheist arguments.

The Bible says that atheism is wrong.

"The Bible also says some guy's donkey talked."

If bạn believe in God and are wrong, then it's no big deal, but if bạn don't believe in God and are wrong, you'll be punished eternally, so it's not a good idea to be an atheist.

First off, I'm going to say a few things. Yes, I categorized this as news. Second, I believe Jesus existed. Not as a holy being, but as a good, respectable guy who preached his religion, as a historical figure . But, using the Bible's own logic, I'm going to try and collapse the whole holy image of Jesus and leave the picture of a man. Imperfect, sure, a religious dude, but I don't have a problem with religious people. I was raised Christian (my parents don't know I'm an atheist), but off of the idea that Jesus was not perfect.
NOTE: This whole delicate bài viết is balancing on the fact that...

The Master and his otherworldly soldiers (Toclafane)
As an atheist, I don’t believe in Satan/Lucifer, but the character as a rebellious figure has some appeal. I think a lot of atheists agree. The Church of Satan is a just a group of atheists who admire the figure and want to piss off Christians. Now, Satan wouldn’t be a just leader, but on the other hand, neither would God. The only reason God is good is because God is first and gets to define what good is for his people. This is not good as humans, specifically modern Westerners, would typically define morality. I find a Doctor Who storyline to inadvertently illustrate God’s tyranny and...

A woman was walking down the đường phố, street when she saw a man đọc the bible.

Woman:Why are bạn đọc that?

Man:*looks up* Because I'm Christian

Woman:Why are bạn Christian?

Man:*shrugs* Because God is the creator of all things.

Woman:*smirks* Oh really? Are bạn sure about that?

Man:*nods*

Woman:*sits tiếp theo to him* What about bananas? They are made bởi people.

Man:They are?

Woman:*nods* And our words, are the words we speak to communicate to one another made bởi him?

Man:No, but when I ment created all things I ment...

I know that this will probably anger some people, but this was just to good to pass up. These are word for word passages from the bible. There is proof in the bible that zombies are coming.

Zechariah 14:12

12And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

sounds a lot like zombies doesn't it? Many people take the bible as the truth, and also see it as a book of prophecy....

One thing that we can observe in religion is that it gains strength in numbers and the thêm people surround themselves with like-minded people who are true believers of the supernatural, the thêm affirmation an individual gains about their beliefs. Every major organized religion thrives on selling fairy tales about what happens when bạn die and how life began. They sell this product well because it is a product that humans have been trying to obtain since the earliest civilizations. The story of Noah’s Ark and the flood is one of the most được ưa chuộng stories in the Bible and Koran. It also has become one of the most polarizing arguments in the Creationism vs. Evolution debate. The thảo luận really is a by-product of denial of history and science bởi the faithful and their leaders. The thảo luận has been over for the last 150 years hoặc so, since Charles Darwin’s Origin of Species showed that all living things evolve over long periods of time.

Many of the so called debates deal mainly with the science of evolution, but rarely the history of the actual story itself. It is important...

"What happens when we're dead? The irony is that all our các câu hỏi wil be answered after we die. And the only comfort that religion offers is that God is driving that bus." - John Ryman, When Galaxies Collide

I'm not sure whether to tell bạn my emidiate feeling when I meet an Athiest, because it's probably the most patronising, horrible thing for me to feel in their eyes, but I honestly can't help how I feel. I don't want to convert you. bạn have free will for a reason and you've chosen not to believe - but I want...

A few weeks cách đây at my workplace I was approached bởi a very visible, though homeless, religious man. He asked me if I were religious in which I replied with a nonchalant "No."

From there it seemed as if all hell was breaking loose. He started badgering me and saying that because I was baptized as a small child I'm ultimately "damned to Hell" for my "families mistakes".

Perhaps I should have just upped and walked away.. but for one, I was never in this particular situation, and since he was a paying customer, I sort of felt compelled to put up with his bullshit because I didn't want him to cause...
