I thought with the arc they made up, there were lots of unnecessary plot holes. For instance, if all Satan wanted in order to combine Assiah and Gehenna was to possess one of his sons, why didn't he just do that when they were first born? I also didn't get much closure from it. Rin's and Bon's dreams were both to defeat Satan. Rin and Yukio together threw him off for a little while, but they technically didn't DEFEAT him. He could come back any time with a new plot but the series just ended on, "The world is safe... for now." I'm hoping they do a second season or something...

i luved the last episode, and it was awesome, but it was seriously too rushed. there were so many things left unresolved. wtf is with yukio? is he like rin now? or is he just able to kinda "borrow" rins power or something? what about defeating satan? are we ever gonna find out what's up with Takara and his puppet?

idk, just so many questions left unanswered.

. . . luckily, i've read that there is a movie in progress, so Ao No Exorcist isn't TECHNICALLY over =] hopfully they will tie up all the loose strings.

ofcoarse there is always the manga, which, thank god, is still in progress

It's good I guess.
But I can't help but wanting a second season with the way it ended.
I mean…

C'mon, there's so much they can do with the story!
Hope there's a continuation-… no, it's a must! XD

The manga only had a few chapters when the anime was reaching its end so it couldn't be helped. I saw a lot of people expressing their disappointment with the anime's ending (which is one of the reasons why it took me quite a while to finally decide on watching it) but when I watched it myself, I found it great.

It was honestly too rushed. Just read the manga and you'll see what I mean. The characters in the manga are just more developed in my opinion.
