Right now im watching Another so im really into horror but my second is romance comedy

Horror, Mecha, Psychological, Drama, and Historical Fiction are my five favorite genres of anime.

i want the anime to be adventurouse and epic.................like one piece..............if the anime is adventurous like treassure hunting like that stuff it really peak my interest.............he he he h and if its epic one then it will be mind blowing.................. eh eh ehe h

Love every anime genre really-but if I had to choose one it's Slice of Life.

I'd go for slice of life, personally... Just because I always seem to end up really enjoying them and laughing at the silly moments that appear in them sometimes.

I seriously can't pick just one. I'm not into any specific kind of genre, I just happen to like different anime whenever I decide to watch them. I like slice-of-life and psychological, and I don't like horror/violence but I ended up loving shows like Shingeki no Kyojin. My favorite animes are all varied.

Well, I really like them all, so it's hard to pick.
But, like CandyforniaGurl I can't really say I have a specific favourite genre.

I like anime that has a story that delves into deep topics like morality, playing god, the struggle of the mind, dystopian societies and their functions, humans and their relationships with others, etc... so anime that is psychological like Death Note, Evangelion, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, etc. I really, really enjoy. I much prefer psychological horror/thriller as the actual gore tends to not be too bad, and it provokes the mind! c:

If I feel like watching a show for enjoyment and not for too much thinking, I like Slice of Life and Romantic Comedy a lot.

I just love anime that makes you think~ It's so awesome and I actually think it makes you smarter ^ ^
But I also love Comedy, Slice of Life, Adventure, Sci-Fi, Mystery and a lot others =)

only bad thing about Horror anime is that it gives you irrational fears like because of another im scared of umbrellas, storms, knifes, and hotels a little because the last episodes don't for get elevators

I generally prefer more lighthearted anime.

I agree very much with Cerudays. The anime that delves into your contemplations and has you thinking about your moral views are the ones that I enjoy more. The ones with relatively deeper story points, such as Death Note.

Action,Adventure,Fantasy etc,meaning shonen forever <3

I love Magical Girl anime, romance anime(But not gay ones)cute and fantasy anime :D

Comedy and slice of life(with an all/mostly girls cast) is my type of anime :D
