I just, they're brothers. I mean, thinking about being with MY brother like that, it's just disturbing.

Alfred disrespected Matthew's wishes to the point of defying them when they played baseball, still beating him up after he asked to throw softer, and try to not hit him.
When England took Matthew to first meet America, Little Matty was so excited.... Just to have Alfred say 'Whoa, bạn look like me!' And then he starts to say something, only to open his eyes to see that England and America had begun to walk away.
Matthew ranted for 3 hours about all the flaws in America and made him sit in the corner and cry.
(I have a bunch of personal reasons I prefer not to discuss, besides they're non-canon anyway so they wouldn't count.)

My perspective on their relationship was always that America was the kid with the magnifying glass and Canada was the ant.
