I don't think Amanda fits that role, although I love her. But I would have liked to have seen someone else other than Mia. Her performance was the only one in the whole movie that I thought was lacking.

^ Ha ha. I was gonna say the opposite. I think Amanda looks more like the traditional Alice, but I don't think she was the right kind of actress for the role (ie shes a little plastic for my tastes). Mia, on the other hand, doesn't look as much like traditional Alice as Amanda does, but she acts the role beautifully and genuinely.
