2001: A không gian Odyssey LIVE at lincoln Center 9/14/18

The North Shore Public Library is the only public library on Long Island which offers trips to performances of the New York Philharmonic at Lincoln Center. The Library coordinates the purchase of concert tickets and offers a round-trip bus ride to Lincoln Center on a Hampton Jitney bus ($30 per passenger). The bus makes stops in Southampton, Hampton Bays, Riverhead, and Shoreham. These trips are open to North Shore Public Library patrons and to out-of-district residents.

2001: A Space Odyssey – Live Special Event, Friday, September 14 @8pm

Experience this spectacle of sight and sound as the New York Philharmonic performs classical favorites ranging from Richard Strauss’s Also sprach Zarathustra and Johann Strauss II’s On the Beautiful Blue Danube to Ligeti’s Atmosphères alongside a screening of Stanley Kubrick’s landmark science-fiction classic.
